It's your guilty pleasure. Admit it, some of you like reality shows. Which ones?

To be fair, there was another discussion about this topic posted several weeks ago, but it had two responses, and I think with the higher ratings some of these shows have experienced over the last two weeks, it might have encouraged some others to watch. So which are your favorites?
I don't feel guilty over watching the reality shows, just kind of like I bought into the cheese factor. But seriously, why should you feel guilty? I like to watch 'Shear Genius' on Bravo, Road Rules vs. Real World: Inferno 3, and Deadliest Catch. What about you? And if you DON'T watch reality shows, there is no need to respond that you don't watch them. This is only for those of us who do. Thank you!

Alright, Alright, Alright, AmbiePam! I do like The Bachelor. I cannot believe that there are so many women willing to get on TV and show how naive they are. They have no problem kissing a man who is kissing a bunch of other women, touching their bodies...and they are competing for this man. What low self-esteem.

For some reason, men are permitted to look sleazy and it is ok. Women on the other hand, no. I think the way these women think, they do not even recognize that they look sleazy.

I really like the one in Guatemala. I thought that was a great one. The current one in Fiji is turning out pretty good. Last night's tribal council did not reveal any surpises but now the last six will find it hard when they have to let someone go next week since they have supported each other as allys. Now it is going to get ugly! :)

I started watching the reruns and I started wondering when the new season started as well. If you hear, let me know. I was surprised at how engrossing it was. My sister has been telling me to watch it for ages, but I didn't until the marathon came on.

I don't watch any reality shows at the moment, but I will still respond to this thread of yours, LOL!
I used to watch Big Brother, the Filipino version, here in my country. I found the show amusing and entertaining. I mean, there are cameras all over the house and every actions, gestures and movements are viewed by a lot of people. I can't say I'm bold enough to join that show. I am a bunny who treasured my privacy with passion.

I'm GLAD you responded. I was really trying to keep away the posters who rail against TV in any form or those who have to warn us on the evils of reality TV. I'd like to see the Filipino version of 'Big Brother.' I'd like to see how the contestants differ in strategy in comparison to America's contestants.

I check into see who is left on "Survivor" every now and then. I do like "Dancing with the Stars" because I like to see good dancing. I also watch "Extreme Makeover" I'm a sucker for a good sob story with a happy ending.

I like reality tv. I like cops, amazing race, biggest loser, and American idol. Those are my favorites. Now on my cable network they have a reality tv channel, where they play repeats of all the reality tv shows!

yes, I watch them too, and feel no guilt about most that I watch. I watch Survivor, great social drama, and I love Dancing with the Stars, and American Idol. I also think the biggest loser is very effective and inspirational in an area that Americans need to focus.

I watched the flavor of love, and it's spinoffs, I used to watch the Real World, but now it's like the same thing over and over again, America's Next Top Model, Search for the Next Pussycat Dolls, this is all I can think of for now, they only had one season of my favorite reality show:Paradise Hotel!

As a teenager I'd watch 'Real World'. But now it is to gimmicky. The people create a persona and then act like the character they want to create. But have you seen 'Real World vs. Road Rules: Inferno 3'? It's pretty entertaining, even though I never watched half the casts seasons on the other shows.

The only reality show that I am hooled till now is The Amazing Race. I'd watched it since Season 1 and I still love watching it. Why? Because of the fact that I can see places and countries which I've never seen before and I just love to see the stuffs that they are doing each week. I used to love watching Survivor but now it's getting pretty boring. I think they need to re-invent themselve. Just like the American Idol.... same old thing except for this season, they've included the part where they are helping the needies..... So, I do not feel guilty at all watching them as I do enjoy it....

I have acquaintence whose brother was on wife swap. Those show do whatever they can to make people really look bad. They did a number on her brother. They made him look lazy. He works so hard.

How could I forget Dancing with the Stars? I love that show. I don't dance, but they seem to do it very well. LOL Who is your favorite couple?
On Sunday night I was slipping through the channels and I began to get mesmerized by the weirdness of Celebrity Fit Club. I'm quite alarmed at how unbalanced Dustin Diamond seems to be.

Is Cops considered a reality show? If so, i watch that. I also watch American Idol and yes i even vote. I like the Amazing Race, they go to so many cool places and get to do a variety of things. The Biggest Loser is the only other one i watch and it's amazing how the people on that show change from the beginning to the end, really good stuff.

There is one here, I don't know if they show it in the US, called Celebrity Love Island.
It is so boring, and so foolish, and the people really are absoloute nobodies, but it draws you in anyway. I don't know if they will do another one this year, but I hope so.

I love Coyote Ungly for some reason I am addicted to it. I like to watch the bad girls club too mainly to make fun of them and laugh at how 2 faced they all are. Also american Idol, and I like I love New York too it was also funny because she is like making out with all these different guys who would want to meet their so called soul mate that way.

New York might win, they seem to have the best shot, but Lil seemed to want that one girl to be more feminine. I mean, personally, she looked somewhat feminine to me, but I guess when you're selling yourself in an image, you don't want tomboy appearances.

I try not to watch reality shows but they can be so addictive. As a general rule, there are none that I watch regularly - but I can get sucked into "So you think you can dance" and shows like that. One weekend I got sucked into "America's Next Top Model" marathon. I couldn't believe I sat there and watched it all day - but I couldn't tear myself away. Oh those and Flavor of Love and the Surreal House.

Reality TV is often way more funny that sitcomes! LOL, it can be hilarious. I used to watch Fear Factor too. It was just fun watching people do things and eat things you know we'd never encounter, but we could have a good time watching others have to deal with it! : )

I like a lot of the ones on the Style Network, such as Maxed out and the one about the haircutters...I can't think of the name of it. I also like Clean House, and What Not to Wear. And Instant Beauty Pageant. Lol they are reality shows, but they're shallow, but I don't care! Lol.

I don't think we get as many reality shows as you do? I however love Survivor, American Idol, Canadian Idol, The dance show oops forget the name! I use to like The Apprentice but decided not to support that show anymore because of the way Donald Trump deals with other's in the business! I think I would love a lot of these shows if I had the opportunity to watch them.

Average Joe-I loved that show! I thought about it all week til it was time for it to come on. I would have had a major panic attack if I had missed it. I'm kind of liking this one with the 30 year old tennis player and the 40's year old women and the young ones.

Oh, you mean The Age of Love? I admit, I was so tempted to watch it. I really hope he picks a "cougar", although the purpose of that nickname escapes me. I guess they felt that it matched the tag of kittens for the women in their twenties. Some of those women looked like they were in their twenties, even though they weren't. They would put me to shame!

Yes, that's it. I'm hoping for the 40's too. They are all really pretty, and look young. I also like"America's got talent".
