Are country men farming this way?

Many more countryside guys are streamming the city for a liveing.They would get a better pay than earning in the faraway village.The village argriculre is takeing great changes.i wonder if there are places where people still make such a liveing?

We still have farmers here in the U.S. and they do make a living off of the land.

Farming - Carabaos bringing harvests from the fields using cart.
Some farmers in the Philippines still use carabaos for farming. They live from farming and some are landed and rich. I came from a family of farmers but we do not own tracks of land. My father farmed just enough for us and none of his children became farmers because we have no more land to farm as they are sold for some urgent necessities.
