What is Your favorite band?

All time favorites are The Smiths/Morrissey and The Cockroaches. Other favorites include Bauhaus, Peter Murphy, Love & Rockets, Psychedelic Furs, Love Spit Love, Echo & The Bunnymen, Ian McCulloch, Electrafixion... Have I listed enough? LOL --- --- --- "I certainly think Britney Spears is the devil. The way she projects herself and the fact that she is so obviously vacuous. I think it's such a shame that she became so influential to very small children." -- MORRISSEY --- --- ---

i adore variety so i love so many bands, from rock, rock n roll, classic rock, punk rock, punk, funky, funk rock, grunge,alternative rock, new wave, heavy metal, reggae, jazz, etc. which means from beatles, led zeppelin, faith no more, red hot chilli peppers, the smiths, Housmartins, pearl jam or soundgarden, metallica, Bob marley & the Wailers, to Everything but the Girl. It really depends on my mood.

For old-time rock, The Who has always been one of my favs, along with Eric Clapton's many incarnations (Mayall, Cream, Derek & the Dominos, solo). For newer rock, R.E.M. and Allman Brothers, Throwing Muses, too many others to mention, and even newer, Government Mule. For country, more old style than new--Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, JOhnny Cash. I also like a lot of alt-country bands, and a lot folk or pop country stuff--Tift Merritt, Sheryl Crow, Shelby Lynne, Allison Moorer, Kim Richey.
