"Insomia"

Got this insomia thing for almost 3months... and can't figure out how to get rid of this disorder! i've tried everything but nothing works... maybe i need to see a doctor then take pills! yes!!!!! but i love this insomia thing! don't know why...

Insomnia is usually caused by an underlying problem, possibly medical so you should definitely be checked out by a doctor just to make sure you are not suffering from any medical illness that has gone undetected thus far. Other causes of insomnia are rooted in stress and depression (again, you should be checked out by a doctor). However, if you love being awake at night, then you may be perpetuating the problem just by that reason alone. Ways to deal with it is to set up a routine for yourself whereby you go to bed the same time every night and wake up the same time every morning. Don't do anything stressful before going to sleep like arguing or paying bills. If you can't sleep, don't stay in bed; get up and do something passive like watch a little tv or read a book. Sometimes, just setting up a routine alone will help you get the rest you need. Good luck.
