Do you feel there should be a North American Currency that both Canada and the US use the same dollar? Should this be extended to other countries if they want to join? Should we just decide to use the Euro or British Pound? Should the countries work towards a global currency eventually? Are there any advantages or disadvantages to this?

Heck no!!! We love when our dollar goes to $1.50 and we basically come over to Canada and get things half off! LOL I used to love that, years ago! And come on, tell me you guys don't love it when you can come here, basically the same rate and NOT pay an extra 40% in taxes! LOL Leave the money alone... we enjoy the unknown!

For the last year businesses near the border have been taking our dollar on par with the us currency and now it is worth mmore than last year with predictions for it to reach par in the next 2-3 years that why think it is a good time to do it.

Well I do have to agree it would be the perfect time but face it, the difference in dollar amounts often causes "rushes" to the other side. When you're buck is worth more than a buck, it's a lure! I like that idea! We dumb yanks tend to forget all the taxes and such we end up paying which probably depletes even the extra 50% down to about %15, but hey... let us feel like we're thrifty! LOL
