Between Faith and Reality

As we move about the world, it's easy to get lost in the day to day and forget other sides of our lives. Being spiritual can be difficult in the fast pace of modern life, and often we forget that we are are just a tiny speckle in the universal plan.
Being at the front line of the company, I often have to do things which conflicts with my believes, in order to get the job done. Having a partner who is barely understanding of my religious believes adds onto the pressure.
Some days I just find it hard. How has your spiritual life been lately?

I haven't had as much time to devote solely to my spiritual life as I would like lately. Between working full time and having a child, it can be very hard.
However, on the whole, I would say it's going very well. Despite the problems that I'm having with the phsyical side of things (my health), I'm finding that my spiritual life feels very rich and loving right now. Every day I find more reasons to thank the Gods for their blessings, and every day I remember how lucky I am.

Sounds like someone likes you upstairs :) Things have been a little rough lately, but I'm thankful for the new experiences. Everything my goddess has taught me through the years are coming into play all at once now, and my head is starting to spinning a little... But I'm hanging there.

Sorry to hear that things have been rough for you! They have been for me too, here in the physical world where my chest hurts all the time and my vertigo keeps me falling on my butt all day. But in the spiritual world... I can fly. =p

I'm not very good with healing but somehow drawing a beam of white light from above and passing them through the chakras then expand out to cover the whole body helps me to heal faster. Maybe you could give it a shot :)

we are living in a materialistic world, wherein we have to do certain acts to earn our living contrary to our beliefs ,a staunch believer is often in a quandary as to what to do most of the time we go with the system suppressing our beliefs to get the job done causing disturbances in our spitual lives,this happens many a times in mylife,

yes,your right it is hard to be spiritual in this material world.You got easily caught by covetousness on something because you are tempted by your envy to other people.I have to have also that luxury car,that high-tech,etc.
However.eventhough you are flooded by these material temptations,you can get easily be spiritual.How? For our lives is bounded by our set of beliefs.We live each day by these beliefs we adopt in our daily lives.E.g.Why do i do this? why do i ate this? why do i donot eat this?etc.,etc. Your answers to this questions are your beliefs which you adopt in your daily life as guideline,and these beliefs of yours become your Religion!
Therefore,eventhough we live in a material world,we live our life by Beliefs which we believe,thus we can also be spiritul eventhough we are carnal and earthly.

Yes that's right, being spiritual is a very difficult thing in this modern world. Sometimes cos of struggles to further my education when there is no support. Have a nice day.
