My best Friend for 20 years has been battling a drug addiction for about 5-6 years now. I have been there for her through it all although I do not do drugs. She has stolen from me and Ive forgiven her. She has been to prison for violations of probation and during that time I am the only one of her "so called friends that made the 2 and 1/2 hour drive to see her at least once a month. Well while in prison she starts sserving God which I think is good because I am a christian myself and I think maybe thats all thats gonna help her. Well she gets out of prison and she does good for about a month and then its the same ol thing again right back out there drinking doing drugs sleeping around with all these different guys and now she has gotten a venerial disease. But she's lying to me again and avoiding me and I'm so tired of always being there for her and never getting that in return from her. Is it time to call our friendship done or should I just keep being the doormat. I mean will she ever grow up and realize that there is so much more to life.
