They're so popular because even though they are ugly they are really comfortable. Everybody tinks the same as what you said until they try them on and then it is a different story.

I KNOW! I think the same thing. They are so ugly, and tacky to me. I can't imagine ever wearing them. The common thing I hear most often about owners of Crocs, are that they are the most comfortable shoes they have ever worn. If they would make them more attractive, I'd wear them too. But as of right now, I would never be able to feel comfortable wearing them. But for nurses, I bet they are so welcome since nurses are on their feet all day.

If you're looking for attractive looking footwear so your feet look good then definitely don't buy Crocs. If all you want is comfort, no more sore feet and the feeling of having comfort when walking and little to no risk of slipping on wet floors then buy these you'll never regret it. You can buy different colors you don't have to buy the loud bright colors. I have bought black a light baby blue and I also have a tan/gold color, very nice color. They truly are more comfortable than anything I have ever worn honestly. How many times have you bought a pair of shoes and for the first couple weeks your feet are sore and even blisters, well these shoes are strictly buy, wear and go. No problems. I love them.

I own two pairs of crocs and honestly I love them. I couldn't care less what they look like or what anyone else thinks of them. I don't really think they look plasticy, either, but more rubbery. They are like going barefoot but without having to worry about cuts and punctures. I think they are brilliant, and love how they are coming out with all the different colours and models!

They are really really comfortable is why people wear them.
And, with the holes in the traditional style they offer some air circulation to your feet. And, when I'm wearing mine to work outside I can hose them off while still on my feet if I want to (it's so hot here that it can be quite soothing to do this).
But, if you guys really hate them, don't wear them. I'm sure there are things that you like that I don't care for either. Everyone has the right to decide for themselves.

Personally I agree as well with this thought. I cannot see what the deal is, and I think they are UGLY as well. And way over priced in my opinion as well. But everywhere I look, even Mall kiosks, they now sell them, and must be doing Good with them. I cannot see how they would be comfortable, and since I am Diabetic, I am not even sure they would benefit me.

Crocs are about the ugliest foot covering I have ever seen. They look like the recycled tires except for color. So their appeal can't be fashion. It has to be comfort. but since when have we decided to start buying shoes for comfort? The Crocs Prima Ballet Slip ons don't look so bad. those sandals might be appealing but those regulars are just horrendous.

Haha! I feel the same way too you know about crocs. I don't find it appealing really, it is soo cheesy. Yeah right, they're expensive but what the heck. I remember one time when i was in boracay, there was this girl wearing a yellow crocs and mind you, i spent a week there and she was the only one i saw wearing one. haha! Eeewww, the girl feels like everyones staring at her because of that and she was like bragging it to everyone. hellow!!!

I don't get them either, but they say they're very very comfortable. Aside from comfort, people sometimes who like to go with the trend choose what others choose, no matter how odd looking or expensive those things are. Pretty like the recent fashion trend of havaianas. More people are out in the malls and other public places wearing expensive flip flops. I don't get it too why those slippers cost a lot. I wonder, I can already buy a nice pair of shoes with the same amount. :)
