What's your cat like when you take him/her to the vet?

I have two male cats. Taking them to the vet is a horrible ordeal!
Cat #1 gets so stressed and upset about being in the car that he throws up the whole way there. It's so gross! Once we're there though, he does cooperate with the vet.
Cat #2 becomes a demon. He's a total sweetie at home, but once in the cage he becomes wild. According to the vet he is officially the worst cat that the vet sees each year. They have to unscrew his cage because he won't come out, they have to cover up his head, and they just put in the shots and get him in the cage again. If he's really sick, we actually have to knock him out. Otherwise he's screaming, biting, and scratching. It's a terrible experience!

I have a cat and I went with him at the vet just one in 5 years. He had problems with his fur and I took him to the vet because I didn't know what to do. My cat, Tomy, is very scared when he goes in new locations or when somebody come in our house, he is an in-door cat . When I took him to the car he was very scared and I didn't know how he would react at the vet. I was very amazed because when we entered at the vet he was very calm and he was very quiet when the vet has inspect him.
My cat is more quite than yours :)

mine are pretty good for the most part.
our vet gives out treats and they seem to remember this.
i'd gotten them an oversize cage so they have a bit more room,it seemed to be the size of the smaller cage that freaked them out because it was so confined.
the new one all i have to do is open the door and they walk right in themselves-no fight at all.
