Lucky shoes

I'm not a shoe a holic, but I like shoes. I have what I call my "lucky pair." They are these really stylish black pumps and I don't know if I just exude more confidence when I wear them or what, but to me they are lucky. Everytime I have worn them to work I get an obscene amount of prospects and write a lot of new business for my insurance office. My hubby thinks I'm silly, but I got home from work a little late tonight, and he asked what was up and I told him, "I wore my lucky shoes, got my *ss spanked all day." Do you have a lucky item of clothing?

I try to wear green when Sporting plays a game....color of the team but I don't use or consider it as lucky. I am not a superstitious person but I do believe that if you put your mind to something it will come to be no matter how you think it.
PS: Are they still using the word "pumps" today? I thought they went out of style in the 60's.

LOL "pumps" may have gone out of style in the 60's, who knows? Now I'm wondering about that. Maybe I should've called them "low heel slingbacks." :)

I have a favorite pair of jeans...they fit just right...look nice and I have had several good things happen while wearing them...so yes, I guess they are my "lucky jeans"!
I do not think it is silly...when we associate some as "good" or "lucky" it changes our outlook while we are wearing them or doing that thing......I think it is a good thing.
I bet your husband has his "favorite something" and just willnot label it as "lucky".....LOL
