No and I dont think it is fair for people to blame the industry. If you dont allow them to listen to it then there should be no problem right.

Not really bad, it depend on the kids on how they enjoy it as music/environment, and for for the parents to guide them.

Of course rap affects the youth. You got rappers talking about "shoot this, shoot that" and they can't even come back and walk in their own hood.
But anyway the whole issue is, you can't blame rap or any other music. It might negatively impact people, but it can more often positively impact people. The thing is, the music or even the culture/image put forth can not be the sole factor. It all starts with the parents. The parents need to teach kids right. Of course this brings us to the whole other problem of parents and parenting and lack of parental presence.
