My husband is not a member of MyLot. I have tried to get him to join because he is big into politics and I have seen a lot of discussions regarding that subject here. I think he would enjoy it but so far he hasn't seemed to have an interest. Now one time he did start two discussions using my username but he signed his name at the end of each one. No one ha responded to either one. He has asked me several times has anyone responded to them and I have told him the truth that they haven't. That may be why he hasn't had a desire to join.

Well I have some that poeple didn't reply to, but I find it fun replying to others just as much anyway. You should start talking about ones you reckon he be interested in around him, and when he gives his point of view you could say "Well if you joined you tell them what you think?!" Him asking shows he has a bit of interest, he might just need a little push. Let me know how things go.

That is a good idea. I'll try doing that. I really believe he would enjoy being a member.

I wish my husband would actually join mylot! Instead he just comes on here and snoops around, without ever joining or posting. Since I talk a lot about mylot, he became interested in some of the people I talk to on here and some of the discussions I had mentioned. So instead of actually joining and coming on here himself, he just reads and then talks to me about things later. It's kind of nice having him involved in something I enjoy, but it would be a lot more fun if he actually joined and posted too!
