Is there a specific trait, that you do not like about yourself? What is it? Would you like to change it? What are you doing about it? Do you think others hate you because of this? I am a sensitive person. I am trying to divert my attention if i get hurt, coz I know eventually my tears will slowly fall. And I hate it when others see me crying, because I am not a strong person.

When it comes to many things that I wouldn't consider important, I am very indecisive. I can't stand the question, what should we eat...My answer is food. Now if its something important, then I'm a different person. I don't think others hate me for that, but my friends find that bothersome since my inputs are far and few in between.

Maybe we should stick together and learn to reshape each other's personality. =) You say you are very sensitve.. you know what? my problem is the counterpart of it, I AM SO INSENSITIVE! I am not fully aware of this before but I just found out when my friends keep on telling me that I shouldn't have said this, or I shouldn't have done that because I may have hurt somebody. Oftentimes, I do things or say things without thinking of other people's feelings. Because I, myself is not a sensitive person so I often think that what is OK with me is also OK with other people. Like for an example, it is ok with me if you say "NO" if I ask you a favor. I accept no for an answer with no hard feelings, really. So when somebody asks for a favor and I dont want to do it, I frankly say NO - Straighforward, no excuses or whatsoever. I didn't know that other people gets offended when I do this, they feel like they dont matter to me and that I dont treat them as my friend. Ouch! So I am now in the process of learning how to be sensitive with other's feelings. Im not saying that I would no longer say NO, if I dont want to, but rather, I will say it in a better way for them to understand why I said No.

That's so true. It really hurts. You know I really appreciate those people who are apologetic or sounding like apologetic when asked a favor that they can't do or give, instead of a "no" or sometimes a big "NO" with big eyes. But it's good thing that you are now aware of that since your friends told you. Goodluck to us!

I am a bit shy at times when around many other people. I am working on trying to change that. I also tend to lead at times. being the oldest and had been put in a position at a young age of taking care of my 3 younger siblings and the house, I tend to want people to follow my advice without question. I have to work on remembering they can make their own choices. I also tend to be very hard on myself.
