Im sure im not the first person to ask this question, however i'd like to voice my opinion on the matter. I was born and raise catholic, however im not a practicing christian, i believe that the teachings are embedded in moral principles which are good to follow however i dont believe in heaven or hell. In my opinion when a person dies he isn't somehow thrown infront of the gates of heaven or hell in some mystical world where he spends the rest of eternity. I think that first and foremost once someone dies he isn't essentially dead, in the sense that he isn't wiped out of existence, since he lives through the actions he did, people he affected and the very fact that he lived once upon a time. In that respect i believe everything is immortal, just because a person isn't running about exercising his will doesn't mean he isn't present. personally i think that once ur dead ur so unawares of ur status that it really doesn't make much of a difference, anyways thats my oppinion id like to hear urs ;)
