Expanding earth theory?

How many have heard of this - apparently a small minority of people believe that the earth is expanding - and that the "pangea" supercontinent a long time ago actually covered the earth. This theory was actually provided a long time ago i think before the shifting plates theory. Of course, every one of these theories has their arguments for and against so don't just be stubborn and say that it is wrong - please be open to anything.
