just now when i was answering my friends discussions i realized that i am not able to keep pace with my friends, i spend atleast one hour on mylot and generally prefer to answer atleast one post of my active friends. with only 40 friends i am finding it so difficult, still their are mylotians who have many friend more than 100-300 friends, so i think it would be extremely difficult for them to reply to their friends posts. does that mean you ignore your friends on mylot? so how do you manage to keep pace with so many friends.

I only reply to discussions which appeal to me and are of my interest.I don't think it is necessary to reply to all the discussions posted by our friends.Further some of the friends post 10-20 discussions in a day , so it is just impossible to reply to all the posts. If a single friend will post so many discussions them it becomes difficult to look for the discussions by other friends as most of the pages of "discussions my friends started" are occupied by the posts of that friend only.I think mylot should provide an option of selecting certain friend's discussions at the page "discussions my friends started" so that one can also look at the discussions by some particular friend.

I don't ignore any friends I have. I usually just looking their discussion from "discussions my friends started" and see if any discussion interest me. Most of them are not interest me because we may not have everything in common.

Well since I have been a member here on mylot I have to say I have never ignored any of my friends discussions, I have over 100 friends and I manage to respond to them, no I do not find it impossible to answer all of their responses well if y9u only have 40 friends I do not understand why you cannot respond to them maybe you just do not have enough time.

I dont think i ignore some of my friends here on mylot because i just do response to a discussion that interest me even if he/she's not my friend here as long as the discussion really interest me and i have idea on topic.Because it is useless to response when you have not enough idea to be shared or you dont know about the topic.

I don't intend to ignor any of my mylot friends. But I have been ignored by my mylot friends :). Actually very time when I login, I would go to "discussions my friends started" and manage to answer some discussions that I have some ideas to. but I don't know what else I can do or contact those friends. I don't know either how to request a new friend, they all requested first. When I entered some of my friends' page, I found in surprise that I'm not on their friend list. I don't know why.

I don't actually ignore some of my Mylot friends. It is very hard to keep pace with all of our friends when we have so many of them to respond to. I am only online 5 days a week and I get very behind with the discussions on the other two days. I have over 500 friends to respond to and the discussions are building up on me. I get around to as many of them as I can each day and save the rest of them and try to catch up on them on other days. I cannot keep pace but I try to do my best with it.

I try not to ignore any of my friends but if some post 5, 10, 15 discussions a day I will pick one and respond if possible.
I also do my best to respond to my friends discussions but am still selective as to whether I can respond with quality - if I know absolutly nothing about the topic I don't respond. Sports, recipies, politics, and off colored jokes are pretty sure non-responsive for me.
With over 100 friends I do sometimes find it necessary to not respond to all but then not all are posting daily and very very rarely do I have time to go outside my friends' to look for other discussions. Which is fine with me, I love my friends :)

Lol, of course I "ignore" some of my friends. I am a human, not a robot. It is just not possible for me to make so many posts a day. Most people here like to post discussions that will be deleted anyway - so I won't be answering those. Some are of topics I prefer not to answer. Others might be discussions that are not discussions. The list goes on, but if I see that someone has been always answering my discussions, I normally try to reciprocate as much as possible.

erm.. nope.. i don't ignore any of my friends.. i think they don't deserved to be ignored.. no matter how irritating or annoying they can be.. i will never ignore them.. i think it's really impolite to ignore someone.. we should atleast tell them to give us some rest.. and to stop annoying us.. but we can't just ignore them for no reason.. that's really bad.. if my friends were to send message to me.. i'm sure i'll be glad to reply it.. but it doesn't happen this way here.. no one even send a message to me.. i think they're too busy with their own stuff? maybe =)

Discussions is a great thing here in myLot. I got 10 friends on my list. I turned the notifier so that whenever they start a new discussion, I will be notified. I try to post a reply as much as possible. I have 10 right now, I don't know what will happen if I have a hundred or more.
