do you prefer reading books in a sitting posture or lying down in bed?

I prefer reading in a sitting posture, because it prevents us from falling in sleep. But body seems to prefer reading from bed. There is a possibility that we might have stopped reading printed books. If we have to read invariably from a computer, sitting becomes unavoidable. How do you view?

Thank you. It is good that you do not tend to get sleep while reading on bed.

I use reading to help me relax during a busy day or at the end of the day, so the majority of my reading happens in bed. However, if it's reading for work or for school I read in a sitting position at my desk or on the couch. That way, I don't become too relaxed or disinterested in the material I'm trying to absorb.

Hi multisubj,I prefer reading my books in a sitting position, because I could concentrate with my readings and I have the habit of taking down notes of some important details. I see to it that I always have my index card and pencil in my study table before I start reading. Happy posting.
it's me,

Thank you. I wish to emulate you. But after heavy lunch I fail. Maximum, I can envy you.

When reading books... both is OK. If I read just before sleep..so it would be in lying position and if in the middle of the day... i will sit in the sitting room with the drinks and snack as compliments. :)
