So, do you belive that there are planets out there that has life as well? Do you belive that there are "aliens" out there? Have you ever met an alien?
I read somewhere that they had found another planet that at a first look, looked exactly like the planet earth, with water, deserts, mountains and green areas...
So what do you think?
Personally I am torn. Sometimes I belive that it is impssible that we are alone - and sometimes I think that life on other planets should have been discovered by now...

Well, I know plants exist and maybe animals could too. Not the animals we have here, because none of them could stand the heat or the freezing cold, whichever planet you point out. I highly doubt there are other people or close to human people on other planets. But I'm not so narrow minded that I exclude it completely.

yup. i do.
you see, the universe is such a vast space and it expands as theories say. so there are a million other possibilities that a planet- similar to the eart, exists- where life survives and is created.
i hope we can learn more about this.

I think I believe that. Human used to think they are the only who know how to THINK.. But sometimes I think there are another 'being' that living in the other planet.. Maybe those 'being' thought they are the only who know how to THINK too.. Haha..
However, I don't think that they have the exactly same physical features like us.. Different condition of living environment caused different evolutuon of our physical features too..
Don't you think so??

I deeply believe that there are lifes in other planet. The universe is a vast space and we only know very very little of it. We don't know every part of the earth, e.g. the deep sea and the incore of the earth, so I won't say we know about the universe.
Recently, the French government has released its aliens cases and findings to the public. I would think that it menas the French government recognize the fact that aliens exist.
There should be something out there in the universe, but I wonder whether we will find it before we destroy the earth.

Sometimes, It's hard to believe that there's life on THIS planet! :)LOL!
Yes, Of course, there's Life out there, and it's wonderful! :)
Maybe, one day, They will be kind enough to come Here and teach us how to respect our own Earth again, I certainly would welcome them with open arms. We really need all the help we can get! :)

i dont really believe it. i mean, its fun to watch movies where the plot surrounds extraterrestials, but i dont really think they exist. we've been there a million times and have satellites and whatever else roaming around, but there have been no signs of life. i feel like there would be some kind of sign if there was life out there, but we haven't really gotten any. there are those stories about ufos and such, but nobody has managed to get real proof.

You are a typical skeptic - you keep yourself in a mental prison waiting for "proof" before you believe anything. Where's the "proof" that you even exist? Chew on that one.

"I think that life on other planets should have been discovered by now"
but you are forgetting that the universe consists of more than just our solar system...because of that (among other things) I defintatley believe there is life on other planets...I think it's pretty arrogant and foolish of us to think we are the only intelligent life in all of existence ya know....

it is a really big universe and we may never know with whom we are sharing it with.with a lot of movies like the MIB and all that will definitely make us things otherwise.with man developing in great extent in technology it will just be a matter of time when he will be able to sweep every nook and corner of the universe to find out many new things.i wish they do a major discovery of some sort of new life form.it would be really exciting.

i stogly beleive in other life forms, look at the photo's from hubble, they have found 23 systems that could posably harbour life within 200 light years from, the problem is getting there, even to get to alderbaren, it's 4 light years, with our technology would take too long, it took over 10 years for galileo to get out of our solar system usin the planets as sling shots, the only way you could get to other systems, is to be put in statsis and excede the speed of light, and really we are just not that smart enough, and even if we could, by the time a expidition has gone there and come back, will there even be anything to come back to or would anyone even remember you went, but maybe, there is a civilisation that could do that, but if you came to this planet with all it's problems, would you really like to be know, any thing that comes into out atmosphere that we dont under stand gets shot at, welcome to planet earth

Yes I do believe that there is life on other planets as there are so many solar systems and so many planets in the space , many of them must be having conditions favourable for life. Though the life might be diffrent then we have on earth but still there must be some planets with some living beings or atleast plants.

i agree with you.. definitely we're not alone here.. i think there are living things on the other planet.. and it's just that we can't get there.. but i believe in the future.. we'll be able to get there.. and maybe.. someday.. expand our population.. i don't know if that living things are alien or what.. but there are very high possiblities that animals or maybe dinosaurs living there.. if the planet exist before earth.. then i'm sure it's nearly empty now.. but if it exist after earth.. then i'm sure it has to go through the process.. and it takes some time =)

Yes, there is probably life on other planets. One, because of the size of the universe and the chance that there are other suns with planets equally spaced to create condusive conditions for life. Two, because the matter from which life formed is universal to the universe. It's just a matter of having the necessary conditions to allow life to form as we know it. And lastly, three; because life strives very hard to exist. It adapts. It developes in the most seemingly adverse of conditions. And conversely it thrives when you have a planet such as ours with the such fertile resources.

Great answer. You are right that life adapts to the hardest of conditions.

The experience of life on earth is limited to a set of natural forms and diversities of living beings based on specific natural elements including air and water that supports the existing life forms. In an infintely expansive and never ending universe where millions of stars, gallaxies and planets are moving around,it is quite likely that life forms of different kinds altogethar, supported by some other combination of natural elements might exist. Any discovery of science in exploring similar life else where in the universe will succeed to a very limited extent only. The other forms of cosmic life forms that might exist elsewhere may not be perceptible and visible with our senses and mind which are specifically designed in context of the life supporting elements of earth. The ultimate basis of life is nothing but combination of cosciousness and enery, manifesting in physical living forms and shapes, that helps in fulfilling a set of nature's desire and evolving/transforming continuously. A manifested life form in a planet, being limited to its natural elements and surroundings,is an alien to the other life forms evolved elsewhere.Life whether at unmanifested or manifested form, exist everywhere with different level of consciousness and intelligence.

Well, although i am genewrally an agnostic about most things (which means i don't belive you can rove stuff either way) i an more inclined towards believeing that there is life on other planets. It would seem strange that we are the only living being in this universe. I don't think it matters that life on other planets hasn't been discovered. There may not be life on the other planets in our own solar system, but there couod be life in other solar systems. when you think about how many lighyears away the nearest star is then it doesn't seem odd that we haven't yet encountered alien life. Though of course others would argue we have, but that's for another discussion!

Yeah, I think that I've read that somewhere too. And yes, I do believe in life in other planets.
Like I've said somewhere before, out of the billions of stars in the universe, there's bound to be one solar system like ours, and a planet much like the Earth.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not an alien buff or something but here's my theory, we haven't discovered life on other planets yet because we still don't have the technology to do that.
And the reason why (if there are more advanced lifeforms in the universe) aliens haven't contacted us is that, life on other planets is still a new concept to most people.
I mean, think about it, if aliens visited us, there would be panic everywhere.
I think they're just waiting for us to discover other planets with life forms, have that idea settle in, then they would eventually show themselves.
Just a silly theory of mine. LOL.

WHo knows, there might be aliend walking around dressed as humans - inspecting us .. we never know. I am sure that with time things will progress and our knowledge will improve as well.

yes, i believe.
all sorts of wierd, wacky animals.
but actually, maybe there are animals much similar to ours.
think about it - how many stars look the same as ours? how many planets are round? how many aliens will look similar to us with humanoid appearances. if not then there will definitely be many single-multi-celled organisms.

i belive in life at other planets, the universe is so large that the planets our human being cann't reach, and there many planets and stars in universe, and maybe there are exist the same condition as our planets, and there maybe have a life.
