I have decided to change my handset. I currently use Nokia 3120, but i want a phone with more features. When i asked my friends they had split opinion and so now i'm in a dilemma as what to do next, should i go for the durability and ruggedness of a Nokia phone or a "value for money" sony ericsson phone. So if i can spend a 10000 INR what would you suggest and if you have any other brand in mind please let me know..

buying a sony ericson is like buying a bad pizza, it has everything you might like on it but just tastes terrible. nokia lately have been catching up with all the new features and are keeping up there high standards of "unbreakable phones". see my discussion about the 6280, you might be interested in it and the price of it is gradually coming down. its about $300au now if you look around. i would normally reccomend a nokia

The Nokia 3100 that i bought a year ago was really a bad memory for me.It was making noise when i called and answered .As a result, i went to the cell phone shop where i bought my mobile phone and asked for a change. But the boss think it was not the problem of the cell phone and insisted that Nokia enjoyed a great popularity and wouldn't sell poor quality product. That did happend but what i can't accept is that why do people always think a product enjoying a popularity is not selling unqualified things?

I think in this case it would be worth your while to do your own home work, and ask the sales associates, to list all the benefits and flaws, I know they do this as one phone had a bad reputation for breaking and the sales associate said it was no good and would never recommend it as they get returns all the time. So go to them and tell them what features you are wanting and let then demonstrate it to you first, then you can make your own decision
