I feel bad when trying to help on MyLot

Oh don't feel bad. I feel the same way here. I do love your recipe posting and have tried some I never have find the donut pan yet. When I felt bad the other day about my points were gone you made me feel better and also you remembered that I had lost my voice. My voice is back to normal now and I took your advice when I lost my voice, I didnt talk much and I took some honeyy candy and vitamin c.I know you are a great person and stay that way.

This is a good discussion.I like you want to help others and often wonder if my advise has helped.It would be good for everyone to start a discussion to update everyone when they get assistance.I have been helped by info on mylot more then once and have not gotten back to everyone either.I'm swimming upstream right now with the shingles again.They got so bad this time that I was running a temp and my back fells like welts.If I haven't gotten back to anyone I will be doing so with a started discussion as soon as I'm doing better.I'm just trying to post a few responses each day. I can understand about mylot advice, as not many people reply to let everybody else know they understand. The same thing can be said about fish posts and I consider myself an expert in the field of raising fish, so like to know how the fish is doing after I give advice. Most people would never take their fish into a veterinarian hospital; specially, if they paid less than $5.00 for the fish.

Don't feel bad. We know that you do the best that you can possibly do. We are only human and we all have alot of things to do every day. I try to help all of my friends also but there is only so much time in the day to do it when I have over 500 friends here in Mylot. I think everyone should be more willing to help each other also but I sure don't know what it all is truning into any more. I don't mind helping anyone either but it gets very old when alot of other members do not do the same in return.

Like a gift that is given, when you offer your help, it is up to the individual to decide whether or not to take it and use it. I'm assuming if someone asks for help on this site, they will consider and hopefully use any good suggestions that are given. Maybe, however, they are just looking for sympathy. I have to admit sometimes when I am down, I use this nice, anonymous site just to unload. It feels good when people do respond, and it's nice to know somebody out there cares.

I have got a different impression from my short time on MyLot. I have found people very helpful especially with a shoulder to lean on. Some questions have gone unanswered when people seemed to want help and most of the discussions with lots of responses seem to be rather insipid but on the whole I have found members to be willing to offer advice and the recipient grateful to receive it. I started here with concerns about my family helping with my mum and received some wonderful replies. They were a great help and it was good to be able to ask here. I have met some lovely, like-minded people. I hope you continue to try helping people. Sometimes with the money making I feel people get ovewhelmed with the responses and are not quite sure which to pursue.

yes... that is quite the situation here.... people just take your suggestions as just another... other than the few ones who take it seriously and follow you and earn more... only then they realise the importance of lisening to people.... well.... i am gonna do this now.... i am gonna check all your discussions and then check if your suggestion work or not..... okie??

Your right because here in mylot we need to help each other here to earn more and its nig help to all of us.You are member here for many years i guess.thanks for helping us here.

Hi Margieanneart, I rate your post, cause I think it is a very good one. Yes I think that every people's first aim is to help the other. (Thinking about Gnosisquest -a member of myLot- who post the following subject "Humans are basically good honest and ethical". I think people are bad because the system is hard! life is hard! and there too much injustice. myLot, based on social network, give people a chance to communicate... and when we can make some money... I think it is a good place and I love it more and more. To your success,

dont be sad.. there must be a lot who are definitly thankful for you help but was not able to say their thanks! i mean, some people just font take it easily, especially because this is internet! a virtual world.. i interact with you, but we dont really know each other personally. that's where it ends.. but it doesnt mean that those you have helped are not grateful.. they must be and you have been a great help to them.. just dont feel bad about it.. feel good instead because you have helped a lot of people through this site!:)

This is a good point you are making. We too often say "thanks for the help" or "I will do that" or some thing else. Then we don't take the initiative to go forward with it. It is no fault of your own, but ours as humans, we tend to fail at the onset of the starting gate! At least most of us at one time or another do. I think that this is a good point and we should all try a little harder to take it to the next level!

I've encounted the opposite situation where I got the first aid from some friend, and then when I need the further help, no more responses is offered by him/her and I have to give up the first one as well.

many people in mylot have many problems need us help,they don't know what mylot do,and don't know how to start a discussion and post a response from the discussion by the first time login people.so we should help them and give them a head .the mylot give us a platform to learn and earn money.it is great site

It is ashame that people do not take our advice when we give them some very valuable information. Maybe that they do not believe us when we are trying to help or they feel there is another or better way to get things done. This not only applies to this website but to other areas at home or at work or anything else.

I agree with you. This is where the difference between having a discussion and just answering posts comes into play. A lot of people on here are obviously just responding for the penny and some of us are doing that plus having discussiona and making friends all over the world. I love getting and giving advice when I can. It is nice to know if it is appreciated..

I have learned the hard way that a lot of people ask for help and then if is not what they are hoping to hear they get mad. Too bad that your "help" given in good faith can backfire on you. I shall be very careful in future when I try, or even if I will try, to offer help or advice.

Hi M&M, I agree with what you are saying here especially if you have been on the computer not only on mylot but that some of our friends know more about what they are talking about here and we try and give some help but the majority of the discussions we only receive a response with not much care and then it stops so I undersand where you are coming from but when I find something that can help me I love it and always try to help others as well.

Margieanneart, The problem is that you can only help someone if they desire the help. Some people just dont appreciate help when it is offered. I am learning so much about other countries on mylot and I am finding that each country has a personality of its own. I am refering to the people of that country. Good luck in your Quest to help others.

yes.. i agree with you... this is a good discussion.. and i think a good idea can only be done with good cooperation.. i do understasd many will only say thank you as an appreciation to you.. but they don't really which to participate in your idea... anyway.. thanks for your money making ideas.. i found it to be very useful.. and i'm hoping that you will keep updating us ...i'm sure you have lots of experience here.. and i believe i can learn alot of things from you... is there any chance we can be friends? well.. i wondered =)
