I watched this film last night, My gosh I was in awe on so many levels. I almost turned it off, if a movie does not grab me in the first few minutes I am often disinterested, but I stayed with this one a few minutes longer just because of its imagery. I thought it was going to be one of those movies that are weird in the sense of being disconnected. I could not have been more wrong. The movie is both emotional and spiritual all wrapped up in fantasy. Moving to say the least. Has anyone else seen this movie and what did you think about it?

I saw it in the theater and plan to buy the DVD. It's one of those that really needs to be seen on the big screen to appreciate its beauty, but even on a small screen, I'm sure it will be a great experience. It's a bit confusing at first, but it isn't intended to be a straight-forward story. I'm glad you gave it a chance. Even if someone gets lost in the story, it's a visual treat.

Yes I am truly regretting not seeing that one in the theater. The only time I was lost is in the very first few minutes, soooo glad I pushed past that. The imagery was astounding.

I loved The Fountain it was a very thoughtful and touching film. I love the visuals in it and I love all the layers of meaning. It really touched me and I plan on adding it to my DVD collection. I also agree that the "general public" may not like this movie as you have to think about it--and it is quite deep and easy to get lost in. I am glad you gave it a change. I think more people should. If want to know what this movie is about you can read my review on epinions at http://www.epinions.com/content_286359981700

I loved this movie, it was a great experience in so many levels, it`s visualy stunning, the last sequence is breath-taking, I am glad i saw this movie in the cinema. The tree intertwining stories trough the ages of love and loss, are beautiful and powerful, Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz do a great work in their various roles, above all i found the movie very thought provoking, me and my friends spended some times discussing the movie after we saw it, one of my favourite movies this year.
