I among exercises both jogginga and swimming ,both are super.both gives you not only health but both are very much enjoyable rather than other exercises ,when you go for running you can also see lot of people and nature and you may purchase some items for the house also.but i like swimming ,coz jogging can be done at anytime ,but swimming only with water .so it will be a rare oppertunity for me to swim

both are good actually, to keep up good health. jogging can be done by every one, by all ages, but swimming can be done by people who knopws swimming, and by people who dont get cold, fever or any other condition caused by water. so swimming has lots and lots of restriction and first thing you have to learn sxwimming well to practice it. but, jogging is not like that. anybody can do it. so i think jogging is good for all ages and almost all people.

Hi Manish, if you are looking for an enjoyable and healthy way to spend some of your leisure time if you cant make it up in the morning, perhaps you should consider swimming your way to good health. (but before that be sure that you know swimming).LOL :)
Swimming can help you live longer , more healthy life and many doctors consider it one of the safest forms of low impact exercise.
One thing that i think everyone will agree on is that swimming probably does not lower your weight but it does lower the percentage of your body fat.One of the strongest arguments in favor of swimming is that you get the same results with less effort.
People who like to jog or who like to walk (or people like you, who just wanna have a discussion on fitness and feel fit after reading them :), joking, please dont mind)
do not have to exert the same force . when you are swimming, you are using all of your muscles in the water, so u are developing more solid muscles. you dont see much difference in the weight, but you will 100 percent see A change in the composition of the body fat.
for these reasons and many more as i donno much myself, what the great i can help others on it, but physicians recommend swimming and water exercise over walking an jogging.
Swimming is a nonweight bearing sport.u can actually move your arms and legs without the problem of gravity.many people learn swimming as youngsters, but their is no age limit to learn it, so dear Manish, you can still start, u are not that old , i think, youe smile shows that u r having all the teeth of your own(atleast infront), and hairs(if not using any hair color)are also good .u r still young man (i m not sure , i doubt on u at times LOL)
Swimming exercises most of the muscles in the body but at the same time you dont have the pain or any such feeling in your knees and joints which u can experience after jogging or walking.you can swim in your 90's also but you cannot jog in that age, it is difficult.
so Swim your way to good life and good health.

Swimming is much better exercise as compared to jogging. Jogging is one type of warm up. For the morning session jogging is good for health as it makes all parts of our body active in the morning after we woke up and the fresh air in morning supplies some pure less polluted oxygen to breathe in and give energy to our muscles. We should do swimming in later part of day or may be in evening time.

Swimming is better for the overall muscles because you use more muscle groups than with jogging although jogging is better for keeping the bones strong.
