How to make discussion with lots of responses???

As I wrote in my title I wonder how to make a great discussion? I see some of my friends like dydeep81 or easy888 make discussions with sometimes even more that 150 responses. I wonder how do they do that?
I had some good money earning plan and I wrote that I will send it to all e-mails from responses. That wasn't a fake plan, it is real but I didn't want to give my referral link in it. I had 40 responses and that is my maximum, my record.
All other discussions by me are once with 2-6 responses. I have now about 40 friends. Is it enough to have lots of responses. I will try to get some more friends, but there should be something else too which makes discussions well responded.
What is your recipe to make good discussion with lots of responses? How many friends do you have? Is there something special you do? Share your secrets.

I think having friends which would respond to your discussions plays an important role, asides from that the subject of the topic will of course of importance as well. So far my "hottest" topic has 25 responses, and that topic was whether people prefer burger king or McDonald's. The rather plain topics like that tend to get more responses easier as weird as it is :P.

I would also say that extend your fren cycle is a good strategy in Mylot. I realise that most of the people that has tons of response has a similarity. Besides good topics that they post regularly, they have at least 400 frens or even more.

This is good info for me for I am new and I am trying to learn and I would like to know what will help me make the money! I try to post as many as I can a day and try to respond to as many as possible I had even added a picture on one but did not get credit for it
