Do you have enough patience to answer all of your discussions...?

if there are pages upon pages of replies? When you post a discussion, do you expect to get loads of responces? If you do get a lot of responces, regarlesss of if you exspect it or not, do you reply to every one? I mean, if you get pages upon pages of replies, do you reply to all of them or do you stop at a certain amount of pages. I have seen people just today with 5-7 pages of replies. I can see no way as to where I would have the patience to add a comment to most of those replies. I have a short attention span, and I would not have enough patience to complete such a task as to add comments to everyone. How about you? Do you add comments to all your replies, regardless of how many replies you have? Do you have enough patience or not? Tell all.

Well, I am working in customer care of BT. I often get calls from customers shouting and abusing, but patience is the best key in that case... I always try to be patient and because it wont do any harm to me and the other person will realise his/her mistake sooner...

I read all the reponses to my discussions but no I do not respond to each and every one. Mylot guidelines says if you don't have anything to add or inhance the discussion then you should not comment on the response. If a question is asked or a point brought up that I have a comment to make about it then yes. I also try and rate every response.

I don't know, the only discussions I posted on which replies would be meaningful in my opinion have remained rather short. As for the others, well yeh, those are just strictly personal opinions for which in my opinion there isn't much to comment about. But if there'd be like 10 pages on one of my discussions one day I guess I would just pick out the most interesting replies to comment to.

Sometimes i do it, sometimes-no. Then more that some of the answers are similar and i dont want to write to them one and the same thing twice. But i allways have patience to rate.

I don't expect ANY certain amount of responses to my discussions. I post it for my pleasure first and foremosyt. If I get no responses thats fine also. I try to comment to most responses. But I don't do it all at one time. Some times it takes weeks. I comment on ones that need a comment as opposed to a few lines that were already said earlier in the post. Have fun and relax as far as answering all responses. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Usually when starting a discussion I do not set any certain response rate to them, if they get answered, they get answered. If they don't, they don't. They are there for if people wish to respond to them if they are willing to do so. It don't bother me none when discussions I have started go unanswered. I do try to respond to everyone that has responded to my discussions, but there are times when after going through a certain number of them on the same discussion, you just run out of things to say, especially if the responses are somewhat similar, but have been worded in an entirely different fashion. So I would say it just all depends on what the discussion is, what the response is, and what all you have on your mind at the time.

So far, the highest number of responses I've had is 29, so I think i'd be lazy not to answer. I wonder how I can boost my responses. Any tips anybody?

I know at times it is disappointing to make a good response to someone's discussion and to go back and see that they did not respond to anyone. So, at first I tried to go back and be part of every discussion I started because I know people probably appreciate it. However, the more discussions you start, the more time you will be spending doing this. I don't even know if you get paid for it. If you don't then it is not doing you any good financially. So my answer was to stop beginning discussions, because I could not keep up with them. I think is partly the fault of mylot because they are so stubborn about letting people know what the payment formula is. Right now it seems the real money is in responding to discussions and not starting them and answering your responses.

the method that i have adopted so far, is to be able to post few discussions of my own each week. to be posting responses at maximum anount that i can manage is more important. i have already taken notes of those ones who keeps on posting discussions upon discussions without replying to the responses that they get. that is a rude thing to be doing. i have also noticed that neither do they post responses to discussions of others. too bad. it appears that they are reaping earnings from the efforts of others without making others earn from them in return. a very selfish attitude i should say.

I've never gotten more than a few responses to any of my discussions but I don't reply to every response if I haven't got something actually worth saying.

for me, it is only proper and fitting that we give our replies to the responses that we gather. a page or a half page may be accomplished each day, but what is important is we are exerting some effort to do so as a sign of appreciation for their efforts at responding to my discussions.

Since people are so kind as to respond to my discussion, I only find it right that I rate all the responses. While rating, I will read the responses. While reading, I will comment if there is something I can say. It is not often my discussions have lots of pages, hence, I respond to all. Even for those with many pages, I will still spend the time to respond, but only after I have responded to my friend's discussions. I do have the patience to answer all my discussions. Moreever, I do not post discussions every day.

Hi Jen! I tried once not to reply to some responses to my discussions. But I don't know why, I feel guilty to comment on some and not on the others. So I respond to them all. Even if I don't respond to others post for a day. I take my time to comment on my discussion even if it takes me hours. Just a way of me too, of saying I appreciate their responses a lot. Have a nice day Jen! (^^,)
