It's like the old water filter pyramid scam

Many years ago I went on a "job" interview for a company that dealt with the hottest new item...water filters for the home...(i know my age is showing LOL). I sat through the "interview" which was really a sales pitch to a large group of people. everything sounded great and then they told us how we could make even more money. sure you can make $12 for every filter you sold BUT if you could get people signed up for "free" and have them sell filters you would get $3 for every one they sold. What if you had 100 people signed up to sell filter? This only works for so long because people dont sell filters they spend their time trying to get people to sell filters or they only try to sell filters, make no money and quit. sound familiar? maybe like the current day "water filters" pay to click sites. don't get me wrong i'm not referring to mylot because whether i get paid here or not it's a great site to make friends and communicate. i do work from home with ONE company and i make very decent money, not rich money but very good. the link is in my profile if you're interested.
