Are they going to get the race started?

The cars are circling around at Richmond and there is a little rain falling, Nascar is holding off on throwing the green, so it's time for more comercials.

I told my husband last night that maybe we will get lucky and it will rain it out tonight and have our Sunday races. When they don't race on Sunday it sure does make for a weird sunday. LOL

I agree it does make out for a wierd sunday. I think it rained for all those at VA TECH I think it was tears from heaven. Well hope for a good race when they do get started. Lets boogy boogedy boogedy lets go racing!

We just checked the radar and it doesn't look like its going to stop raining anytime soon. It wouldn't suprise me to see it postponed until tomorrow. But you never know, maybe the weather will clear up soon.

I think they are going to postpone until tomorrow also. If it takes an hour to dry the track if it stops raining and when, then it will be 9:45PM and they would have to get the race in to the half way point and be done by 2:00 AM It's raining pretty hard right now. There would have to be a big rain window and I just don't see it happening tonight.

oh lord those darn commicials hate them but hey the pay for the races to be seen. My son has built a race car with a cumins motoer in it no one has done this one so it has took him over a year to do it . He raced a couple of weeks ago came in 5th won $20 lol next week he blew something on the car but some one there had one so he put it on didnt do good I think he has it back in his shop to work on it again before he does another race!

yes it is costly but he has a backer he built it the other feller put in the money. This one he went from stand still to 91 miles an hour in 8 sec

It is great fun when everything hangs together, malfunctions will happen, I wish your son luck in his next race... It can be a very expensive sport, the rewards are usually personal.
