Though Brass isn't actually a CSI, I think he's the coolest one on the entire show. He always has a funny comment for nearly everything, very nicely dressed, and even though he started off with a rough relationship with some of the CSI's, he's actually turned into a great asset and friend to them all.
If he ever left the show, I'd probably quit watching it.

i have to say that all characters are good specially horatio, grissom and mack! i also like Warrick, brass, nick, sarah and greg very much because they have their own part at Csi... Csi it's a show that i don't be tired to see i'm always wainting for the next episode! :)

I'd have to say it's a tie between Brass and Grissom. They're hysterical - ready with a bad pun at the strangest moments. After that, I'd have to say Doc Robbins - his reaction to the rat in the episode a few weeks ago had me rolling! So, those are my top three for cool. I don't watch the other two CSIs, so can't comment on any characters from those ones.

As the senior actor on CS(: Las Vegas, Paul Guilfoyle (Brass) gives the show a steadfast foundation. Even though Will Petersen is a veteran actor, Guilfoyle started around 1975, 10 years earlier than Petersen.
It's very important to have veteran actors of his caliber on the set. They can offer advice, be the to be "bounced off of" (as actors put it) and add humor to situations when an actor can't seem to find the momentum of a scene.
Paul has been on the set long enough for most of the actors of CSI: Las Vegas to find their place and motivation, therefore, were he to leave, I think the program would carry on without him.
Still it's a pleasure to watch him work, and a privilege for the actors of CSI to work with.

Brass is a pretty cool guy. I also hope he will not leave the show. It would not be the same. He has a very different since of humor. Nothing seems to phase him . He is on top of almost . everything. It was rather funny on the wrestler murder a couple of weeks ago. When he thought he had the killer and he would get the call that that wound didn’t kill him. He just wet on to the next suspect.

Well I do like Brass and think he adds something to the show I think it could survive without him. Grissom though I think if he left for good it wouldn't be the same. Those few episodes where he was on vacation just were not the same. If he left I think ti would serious hurt the show and I'm not sure if I'd watch it or not. I'd have to see how they did it.

it has to be grissom and greg sanders. i mean, when we say cool in the name of techniques, intelligence and quick mind, it has to be grissom. but style-wise, i like how greg sanders styles himself, esp. his hair.

I think that the coolest CSI guy is Warrick Brown from Las Vegas. There is something about him - since he has recovered from the gambling thing, he seems to go with the flow and nothing seems to bother him.

hmm..i think all the leaders in CSI are cool. grissom, horatio, mack...they never seem to get angry at their subordinates, which i think doesn't happen in real life haha...
