Do you agree with drug companies advertising their prescripiton drugs on television ? Why do they feelt the need to do this ? Is that not what our doctor's are for , to tell us what drugs are available for our problems ? Do you believe this is doing harm to people especially people that are hypocondriacts who are always looking for something that is wrong with them ? Is this something our children need to see ? Does this bother you or do you feel that they should advertise this so we know what is available for us when we are not feeling well ?

You must never sleep! You must stay up all night to think up these discussions. LOL I hate those commercials! But I think it is a good idea. I know I am sending out two different things here but I have often researched meds online so I would be armed with knowledge when I went to my dr. I find that I am allergic to many medications. I seem to have a very low tolorence for them. So when the Dr prescribes a mediaction and I am haveing too many side affects, I research them till I find one that I think will help. I have and plan to do the rest of my life, ask for a specific medication. The Drs are just guessing when they prescribe one med over anohter for your condition. The commercials have helped to give me more knowledge. I have not however ask for a medication that I have seen on tv unless I research it first
