Whenever you start your car in the mornings, let it idle for a minute without accelerating it. With this the engine oil reachs to all its parts. And also reaches to the top. This in turn reduces friction between the pistons and give your engine a good life. Happy driving.

I am an office manager at a wrecker company, and i can tell you a lot of reasons we tow cars. If you have a manual transmission, DO NOT drive with your foot resting on the clutch or with your hand resting on the gear shifter. Do regular maintenance on your vehicle. Most new vehicles come with a little book you can keep in your glove box to keep up with dates to get maintenance done, this book should be your bible. Always fill it out so that you remind yourself when you need an oil change, etc... If you have an automatic transmission, come to a COMPLETE stop before you change gears. We tow so many cars that have destroyed transmissions because of this simple impatience. If your car starts to pull to the left or right, go get an alignment. It is well worth the 30 dollars, and will save you from spending hundreds on tires later on. Other than that, just listen to your car and when you notice something out of place, check into it right away, don't put it off or it can turn into something a lot worse and a lot more expensive.
