this game is loosing its popularity

pacman............this game was one of the favourite games of children once upon a time but with the passage of time it has been outshined due to other games.in pacman we used to eat all the dots,grab bonus points,clearing stages and more of all this making fun.the game is too easy to play,as it uses only the arrow keys.we should do something to make this game more popular

I don't think that it's as unpopular as you think. The fact that Microsoft has added both Mr. and Ms. Pacman to its catalog of games downloadable via Xbox Live Arcade on 360 shows that it's still a great game despite its simplicity. I think it's more fun on Xbox because of the achievements tied to it. Working towards those goals makes it even more fun!

But who would play pacman these days... It is such a terribly old game, it is just plain boring these days as it offers nothing. There is no moral, no story, no long term objective in the game. Hell the only thing you do is eat all the balls, that's it. No matter how great you make the graphics and such on something like that, it just doesn't compete anymore with the other possibilities.
But it is nearly as bad as trying to bring pong back. Yet another game which should be left alone and lay aside whilst the big boys to the work these days.
