Are you one? Do you dream about things that you would like to do with your life, places you would like to visit, the way you would like your house to be?Or do you rather deal with reality only. Only what's in front of you and can touch or look at?I"m half/half. I do have my dreams, but I like to balance them with reality. Hubby and daughter are true dreamers. They love to talk about things that probably will never happen but that they would like to happen. They sit down discussing their dream house in all details. They even draw it ... and since they're dreaming they never really make it something that we could actually ever have LOL No, it has to be something that is so out of what we can do ..... I think it's fine to have dreams, but I still like them balanced:) HOw about you... dreamer or not? or halfway?:)

I do my share of daydreaming. I think it is very creative and I get some of my best ideas when day dreaming (usually while runninng the vacuum!). I can completely indulge myself in whatever fantasy pops into my head, or it can be practical like trying to visualize how a new piece of furniture could fit or anywhere in between!

Sure, dreaming doesn't necessarily have to be about the impossible, we can be practical even in our daydreaming :)

I am definitely a dreamer. I dream big. I basically dream every time I have the chance to, which is like always. Lol. I dream of going to places, being with someone I love, having a family someday, and I dream of being successful and happy. I love to dream that's why I dream about a lot of things actually.

Yes, in the end, we are all dreamers. Just some people recognize they are dreams that either can be turned to reality or not, and others mix them up so much sometimes they forget reality a bit. Both hubby and my daughter are dreamers too - so am I in a way - but I"m glad that they have a grip on reality too - most of the times hehe

I dream big. And I really am working to make those come true. Its one thing to dream and another to reach for it. I can sit around dreaming to write a book, publish a poem, become a journalist. Or I can work hard and get that. I am working hard to get it! Dreaming is great though. I believe God works miracles through our dreams. There is this song I REALLY LOVE by The Martins. I've posted the lyrics below. Enjoy! :)) I believe that anything is possible if we understand who Jesus is I believe there's nothing that can stop us if we learn to dream like Jesus did So don't limit your ambition to what's commonly defined God has a special heart for those who walk outside the line Don't be afraid to spread your wings and fly It doesn't hurt to try If you're gonna dream... Chorus Dream big It's the Lord's desire for you to Dream big In everything you say and do You'll see your greatest dream come true 'Cause all of Heaven is dreaming big for you I believe that we can make a difference If we fall down on our knees and pray Long ago just twelve men turned this world around And we can do the same today So let your imagination run as far as you can see And dream along with God of every- thing that you can be Don't be afraid to spread your wings and fly It doesn't hurt to try If your gonna dream... Chorus Bridge Oh, I love the word impossible 'cause that's what God does best So just reach for the improbable and He will do the rest If you're gonna dream... Dream big Chorus Heaven's dreaming big for you Your greatest dreams come true

I like your position, and of course you are right. Just dream about what we would like and not do anything about it will not bring results. Pretty song :)

What do you think? I call myself a full-time dreamer. That's why I do all day and night. I daydream, then I night dream too.

LOL my Lord!!! But I'm sure that even with all the dreaming you have both feet planted on the ground as well, at least that's the idea I have from your discussions:) That's the way to be:)

You couldn't have been more wrong. I have been asked by people when I want to finally descend to the ground.

Yes, I am a dreamer. Sometimes the things or events that I really wanted to have or wanted to happen, or whatever or wherever my mind is focused, It goes all the way to my dreams.

I feel mysef as a dreamer. Though I always try to adjust with the realities of life. I try to keep in my mind the proverb that "do not count your chickens before they hatched", but unfortunately, I often do the same. I start dreaming and be very happy with that. The main negative side of that type of dream I do is when they do not happen in practice, I feel upset. I think people who are capable of positive dreaming, I mean those who are practically working to reach to their dreams are good. The way they dream is good for themselves and for the society. I only can say that I am not a dreamer of that type.

That is why i find it important that when we dream we keep in mind that the dream won't necessarily come true. That way our mind can prepare itself for when it doesn't come true. And as someone said earlier just dreaming about something we want and not work for it won't achieve anything. ALthough sometimes we dream just to dream, not to achieve anything in special other than the good feeling of the dream.

My dreams are more related to the day to day happenings. I hardly dream of something out of the way. The peculiar thing with me is that i forget what i dreamt last night though i am not so forgetful in other things. I will have a very clear picture of my dream. Dont know why?But i have seen the others discussing about their dreams.I remember this somewhere: Dreams are unique. No other individual can have the same background, emotions,or eexperiences.Every dream is connected with some reality.Dreamm unifies the body, mind and the spirit. It provides the insight into ourselves and a means of self-exploration.I dont know how far this is true!!!

It sure makes sense and I"m sure there is quite a lot of truth in it. I do know that there is always a connection with reality and that if we can remember our dreams we can find some insight in what is on our mind, what's creating stress, what's frustrating us.

I"M sure writing can be achieved.. just needs to pass from the dream stage to the next one : turning it into reality :) I also dream about a house. Often. One where I would have the space I need - I have trouble living in cramped spaces :)

Yes i do dream as dreaming is necesary to set targets for achivement. When i dream i set my targets to achive that dream. It makes me work harder and gives me a path to follow to achive that dream.

I think I'm a dreamer 60% of each day. Sometimes my daydreams get me depressed because I know for a fact that they are not real. But I just love dreaming. It helps me to be creative and it helps me to make stories, poetry, art, and do many other things.

Well this is where I find the balance is important. ONe foot in, the other out. ENjoying the dream and work for it if possible, but also knowing that it might not come true, so it's easier to accept when it doesn't. I love any form of art, and I do know that dreaming can really have a positive influence there:)

I never used to be a dreamer i always thought that is i did not have bad luck i would have no luck at all. I have changed the way i look at things now though and realize that life is what you make it and i am going to make it everything that i can. I find that now i do dream alot about how my life can and will be some day it helps me keep my eyes on the prize so to speak. I dont talk about things that will never happen though i talk about things that i plan to make happen. I like to look at myself as more of an optimist instead of a dreamer but i beieve the two are closely related. Everybody has a dream but not everyone pursues their dreams.

I really like your approach and I agree with you in the relation between dreamer and optimist. IN any case both need to be balanced and when we can do that things are the way they should :)

I am myself, a dreamer too. Of course, everyone should be dreamed big. It's free and nobody will actually stop you. I dreamed big, (of course! we should dream to the fullest)... I dreamed that I won the lottery, big time (though I haven't took my bet for the past years) and spend and invest this money in able to have a beautifu living.

Maybe I'm a halfway.Dream,I prefer to say it as a plan, which could lead me to a sucessful future. So I usually make a plan that I could do it in a few days or several years. In my mind,if I can dream it ,I can do it.

I hope you will fulfill each one of them. But experience tells me that not all our dreams will come true and it's a good idea to prepare for that to avoid damaging disappointment.

I am a dream without financial support, but I will never give up in life, cos am too strong to give up now, I will keep going until I reach my goal in life. Don't mind me. Am from Nigeria in Africa and my parents are not rich, but am working very hard to make my dreams come through. I will like to go to countries like the United States of America and Canada for further studies. Thanks and have a nice day.

And if you keep working for your dreams to come true I'm sure at least some will become real. There's nothing wrong about dreaming specially when it motivates us to become better and improve in any way.

I alwayd have a daydream. I have lots of dreaming. Such as being success in business and have lots of money. Then my husband and I can fly to Beijing to eat the roasted duck and then fly back home. We can go wherever we like and enjoy the life.

Whenever reality is too much for me to handle, I rest, I sleep. Then there I come to my own world. I am a lucid dreamer.

I am a dreamer. But I also put balance between dreams and reality. And to make my dreams come true,I try to work things out just to make my dream come true,or be possible in the future.I do not talk much about them on others but I sometimes contemplate on them but I think more of reality.

I really like the idea of balance. It's not that I oppose dreaming, I dream a lot too. It's just that there is , in my opinion , a need not to go overboard either way :)
