What color of roses do you favor?

Today is my mom's birthday. Since she loves roses, and we are so far away from each other,I decided to buy her a bouquet online that will be delivered to her.
Since I did the same with my daughter and I had already talked to them over the phone before I decided to do the same this time because I wanted to make sure they would deliver on Sunday.
Everything went fine.. and then they asked me " And what color?" hmmmm personally I have no preference, really. Roses are not even my favorite flower. And then I had to think hard about what color my mom would prefer. I ended up choosing a mix of dark red and white roses. Hope she likes it, but I still have no idea of what I would choose myself :)
What color of roses do you prefer? If you were to receive roses do you have a color preference at all? Is there any color that would make them look any less beautiful for you?

Roses are my absolute favorite flower. i love them to pieces and to recieve them is really special to me. Red and black roses are my favorite, but black roses are incredibly hard to find. Most flower companies do not offer them. In fact, i don't think i have found one that does, because if i did, i would send them to a friend who loves them just as much as i do.

i thought you might like to see a black rose. Black roses are actually ust very dark red roses. They are absolutely breath taking.

The yellow rose is my all time favorite. Red means love, yellow means friendship, pink means I like you. That's all I can remember. I wore a yellow tea rose corsage at my husband Senior year prom and carried a bouquet of yellow rosesw when I married him. He was and still is my best friend. Eveyone in my family knows my favorite flower is the yellow rose.

I"m afraid that I prefer cut flowers and live plants, green plants.
I love to see green plants on yards and gardens, but I'm not too excited about flowers in the same way. I like to see them in arrangements or bouquets. I know this sounds strange.. but hey, that's me :)

I love the yellow or pink roses the best! The smell of roses are so refreshing to come home to after being out for the day somewhere. besides roses I also love carnations, So I usually get a mixture of the flowers

Awe, what a sweet person you are. I would love to get roses of any color. Each color is supposed to mean something but I'm not sure what. I remember that red means love and thats about it. But if I had to pick, I think I like the pink best with red following closly behind.

White is my favorite, but it's partially because a specific person I loved very much used to send them to me. So now since white roses have that significance for me, I wouldn't really want to receive them as a gift, unless they were mixed with other colors. I know, I think too much. =p
If someone were sending me roses, I would rather have a mix of colors. I like the red/pink or yellow/white bouquets a lot. I just think it's prettier to have contrast instead of just one color.

Giving roses on special occasions is a popular tradition but you can make your gift more meaningful if you choose a color that conveys a specific message. You really love your mum a lot and i am sure if i gift my mum roses she will love it! I would prefer to gift my mum; a punch of 5roses with different colors attached with each of them a small card to let her know each meaning of each roses!
red rose= convey a simple message: "I love you".
Pale Pink Rose= connote grace, joy, gentility and gratitude.
Deep Pink Roses= say "Thank you" and also express appreciation, admiration and sincerity
White Roses= symbolize truth and innocence.
Yellow Roses= symbolize friendship, joy, gladness and delight and also may have the saying of "Remember me"

Not only color for me, I love a particular species, Miranda - it's pink in color with soft and close fragrance; It's the most beautiful of the roses I have seen so far.

i have only ever recieved 2 roses in my life, and well it wasnt on any special occassion, we were at my partner mother house and she had a garden full so my partner took 2. a orange and pinky coloured one. i didnt mind its not my fav colour rose, but it was the thought that counted
i have told him this, but my dream is to one day recieve a dark red rose on valentines day or another special occassion like our anniversary, but he not into any celebrations like that. so maybe one day ill get that red rose i have always wanted.
i grew up with older siblings and i remember my sister always getting red roses and half the time it was from a gguy she didnt even like. and i use to think aw how beautiful i wish someone would give me one...im still wishing lol

i love red roses and white roses, this two colors make a great pair,it has a soothing aura. Red roses are timeless flowers and the white ones are suitable for any occassion. It always considered sweet and passionate with this two colors.

It is really hard to tell which one is my favorite because I love all the colors of roses. But if someone were going to send me a bouquet I think I would love for them to be pink and white or red and white.

i havent thought of giving mom flowers, but now i realized that its really a great idea. mother's day is coming around and so is my mom's birhtday. this morning my officemates gave red roses as an advance mother's day gift. i was really happy to have one too. maybe mom would also love to receive flowers.. i like peach colored roses because they're pretty to look at and they seem to be very feminine and gentle-colored. im planning to send a dozen of thse to my mom for her birthday and for mother's day too.
