I think whether you will have the risk of lung cancer, you should live a normal life .that is you shouldn't be affected by the worried minds. because one can't change the reality,so do you.
just choose live a happy life,ok? but since you have a family history of the disease ,you should take care of yourself, keep no smoking and do regular health examination.

I don't think that he does, but he's not alone. A lot of doctors just don't know, and to make up for their lack of knowledge, tend to give educated guesses.
When my dad was still alive and was diagnosed with lung cancer last year, one of his doctors suggested that I and two siblings be tested for lung cancer. But those tests are very new and are unlikely to be accurate. So I share my dad's view (he passed last July) that "whatever will be, will be."
Right now, I've had a shoulder/upper arm pain for several months that still hasn't gone away. Fortunately, I haven't experienced any unusual weight loss problems, so the outcome remains to be seen. I have no intentions of seeing a doctor.

HI! registered nurse here.. It's hereditary, but you can also prevent yourself from having it by taking care of your health properly. My dad has colon cancer and the doctor said that we have almost 50% chance of having it,but i believe that you can take healthy measures to prevent yourself from having it.
