Hello people, I find myself everyday wondering what it would be like to quit my job as and aircraft technician and try and find something else. I have no other qualifications othere than what im doing at the moment and what I accumulated in school.
How easy is it to start a fresh with no experience?
Will I find something less stressful that pays the same?
All these things to think about.
Are you in the same boat?
Have you gone through this and come out the other end laughing?
I'd love some stories or advice...
H

If you're really unhappy with your work then you should definitely find another one. It doesn't have to be a totally different field. Maybe it's the environment and not the nature of the work that's making you unhappy. Try looking for other employers :)

It is better to consult a professional counsellor who would be able to give you a professional advice. You are very young and if you are thinking of changing your profession, which is highly specialised, you have to consider pros and cons very carefully.
The professional counsellor may even conduct an aptitude test on you to determine an appropriate alternate profession and the required courses that you may have to undergo to be eligible for that profession.
In a job, there would be stress and problems. No job is without it. Yes, the degree may vary. But problems are there everywhere.
Do take a well considered decision based on facts and figures.
I wish you all the best.
