Hi i agree with you i think cancer is the worse dieease going around these days.

Yes you are absolutely right that with AIDS we know how to avoid not to cure but in cancer none of thing is in our hands.

Obviously it is Cancer. Today Medical Science has developed a lot. But in some very common disease we still do not know what is the root cause, how to cure it, how to prevent it. Among these diabetes and cancer are two such disease which can't be curable and also the root cause of why a person got diabetes or cancer is still not known. AIDS is also dangerous but since we know the root cause we can prevent it and may be we can cure it some day. Medical science should try to find the root cause or causes of cancer and the way to prevent it atleast if not cured.

Cancer is definitely the worst disease there could ever be. My mother was just diagnosed with lung cancer 12-8-06 and we lost her on 3-21-07. One day she was fine and the next she was fighting for her life with everything she had.

That's really true! Of all the incurable disease cancer is the worst among all of them. My mother got it and we are still fighting our hopes that she can get out of it or at least buy some more time with her around. It is really the worst kind of disease. Until now it is still unclear which really causes this disease.

I agree that cancer is terrible and affects everyones lives, but there are others as well. There are people with Arthritis so bad that they can't move, sit or sleep without constant pain. They have to watch life go by without participating. There are people with dementia that know that they are starting to fail. Their minds are going and it leaves them with anger and confusion. I wish there were cures to all these things. I think that the worst disease in the world is the one that you have to watch your loved one suffer from, knowing that there is nothing that you can do.

For me, it's a toss up between cancer and heart disease. I've had a few family members die of cancer, it was a long and painful life for them. I've also have had family members die suddenly of heart disease, they never knew they had a problem until the family got an autopsy ordered. It can strike at any age and unfortunately doctors won't look into it unless the person is old.

Yes I agree with you, but atleast AIDS plus STDS should not be left out.

Cancer has go to be the worst disease going I think. Alzheimers is pretty scary also and diabetes. But You are right at least certain deadly diseases can be avoided.

I would agree with you. AIDS can be avoided but it's hard to know if you are going to have cancer or if you already have one. It could attack you unaware and slowly eats up your body until, sometimes, it's too late. Even there's cure for cancer, it's very hard and painful, not to mention, very expensive. I just hope and pray that my family and I would be spared from cancer.
