If you know a nurse, thank him/her!
My bestest female friend (we've known each other for 31 years) is an ER nurse. She works 12 hour days 7pm-7am. She is completely dedicated and hardworking. She burns the candle at both ends. Thanks, Karen, for everyone you take care of!

Wow! I am a nurse and i didn't even know that today is Nurses' Day... In the Philippines, we are not really accustomed to celebrating Nurses' Day and I guess most of us here don't even know it's Nurses' Day today. Anyway, i'm happy to know that there is a special day of the year intended for nurses. This day would somehow remind us that we are thankful to have been given the chance to become instruments of God's healing love to the sick and know that our service is appreciated and acknowledged by our patients and loved ones. Happy Nurses' Day!

Shame on me because I didn't even know that yesterday is Nurse's Day. I bet most of the nurses in the Philippines don't celebrate this very important occasion. Thank you for reminding us that there is a special day intended only and exclusively for nurses alone!(",)
