One of my friends is coming to visit next Tuesday. I've only seen her twice in the last 2.5 years. However, when she gets here we will sit and talk and catch up. It will be like we were never apart. Do you have friends that you can pick up your relationship where it left off no matter how long you spend apart?

True friends are all like that. Distance and time is the real test of friendship and when you meet after all that time, one meeting is enough to let you know how good it really is.
We have so many friends, but only some of them last over the years, and these are the ones, with whom we can sit and catch up on old times as if we weren't ever separated at all. I'm glad you have such a friend, congrats!
