Hi everybody, sorry I haven't been here for a little over a week. As some of you know, I'll be starting classes tomorrow so I won't be spending as much time on here. This past week I also started a new job so things have been really hectic. I will be reponding to your responses and discussions and hopefully be able to do so at least 2 or 3 times a week. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anybody.~D

yes, we will all understand the situation that you are in, dfinister. we all have our priorities, friend. it is only natural that we will treat our work and school as top priorities in this life. these are the two things which shall help us cope with our day to day life and prepare us towards having a stable future.

Hey, whatever you get around to. I have my own moments where I'm not around, and I don't have any excuses that are nearly as important as work and school. The way I see it, by being on your friends list, I may (or may not, for all I know :)) get priority over a non-friend discussion, but if I'm not saying anything that interests you at the moment, nothing requires you to respond to anything I'm writing.
In closing, good luck with what life sends your way.
My $0.02 at the moment.

Congradulations on the new job and good luck with your schooling. Education is very important if you want a good paying job these days. You'll find more time to be on mylot then what you think you will. When i was working i found enough time durring the day to hop on for a little while even if it is just to leave a few responses. it was only when i lost my internet for a month or two that i had a hard time but i think that little brake helped me because now i have more to say then when i was on all the time. Good luck and don't worrie we will miss you but you'll still be on mylot so it's not like your leaving for good. Have fun.

It is not a worry really or at least for me. I have the same sorts of problems .. or have had in the past. My partner and I have a small organic farm where we grow fruit and vegetables and sometimes are just so busy nothing else happens. Plus I am also an interstate truck driver so generally spend days at a time away from home. So, like you there are times when I cannot be here online, doing anything at all.
I just come here when I can, post responses to discussions started by my friends and that is is. I will sometimes start a new discussion .. but not too often because I cannot be sure to get back online to check the responses. This will change in the near future though .. will not be away so much due to the severe drought plus cannot grow much in the way of crops for the same reason. Will mean more time online .. probably here at mylot .. but we all only do what we can.
Good luck with the new job and hopefully it will go well with the time that you need for your education.

I'm glad to be spending a little time here today with you too. I'll make sure I check in with you all a few times a week. I won't forget because I really enjoy it here and enjoy the friends I have. It helps me relax and heaven knows, I'll be needing a little relaxation very soon.LOL!

No problem. We all have a real life to lead. Even myself, I missed a couple of days of responding due to family commitments. It happens.

there is nothing at all to be sorry for. we have to face our responsibilities each day. the job is something which we have to attend to always because it is from where we get our sustenance from and, school is something which we must face seriously if we really want to learn and do good in there. good luck in these two undertakings of yours which are bound to eat up so much of your time and effort.

Congrats on your new job and I wish you the best with your new classes. I know it must be quite hectic working and going to school too.
