If Gerrard was a gay, will you still support Liverpool?

If Gerrard was a gay, i will still support Liverpool through and through. Reason being is because we don't have to look at their personal lives. We just have to accept them for whatever they are. That means, respect. We must respect each other eventhough some people are not straight. Actually when we look at other industry or other sports, there are gay stars. Why should football be different? Are football fans really so incapable of watching gay palyer without abusing them? Would it upset players being naked in the changing room together? For me, we just have to accept them as they are. We also must support them and not abusing them just because they are gay. What do you guys think?
