I hate waiting. Just now, we're going swimming and my friends were supposed to pick me up at 11am. It's now 11:03 and one of my friends just woke up. That means I have to wait a little bit more to get picked up.
I don't like waiting and I don't like being late. When we have a set time, I try to be there early. But it seems like I'm the only one (among friends) who have that conviction to be on time. Last time we went to a show, we were almost an hour late. Imagine that??
How about you? Any problems with waiting and being late?

When I was younger, I didn't know yet how to value time, mine and as well as other's. I always come in late when I have appointment. In highschool, I often come 30 mins late. =) My teacher would always remind me to wake up earlier so I can come to class on time. But later on as I grow up and became matured, I realized how valuable a person's time is. I have experience waiting for someone who comes in later than me. I felt bad and since then I tried my very best to come in on or better yet, before time appointed.

Is there really waiting? I asked because if you are doing something and waiting for some one or for some thing then it is not waiting! Some time you are there for some one the person did not reach then you find out any remedy, started book reading then also you are not waiting!
Well the real time, decided time is fixed and the person did not come at right time then it is waiting! In real life and on net both the place I have waited: Its part of life. Important is this: For whom and for what this waiting is followed?
I think who is there waiting and done that part with his/ her sincerity is in gaining, other is in lost. How? It is a process and sincerity counts. So who is waiting is gaining!

@healwell:
You have appoinment at 11.00. You come on time but your friend come on 11.15....., I think, it is waiting. Whatever you called, but it is waiting.
In your statement above, you can use your "waiting time" for reading a book. But i think, it still call "waiting". Coz your friend can't keep his promise.
In different case. You have appoinment at 11.00. But you come at 10.30 for reading first or something, and your friend come then (11.00 ofcourse), it is not waiting.

One of the thing I hate most in life is having to wait for people who came late. There are some people who simply have no sense of coming on time for anything and it has somewhat become their habit. These kind of people really annoyed me.

I feel the same way. I have to constantly tell my friend, like an hour before we had to leave to get ready. But she just can't make herself get ready early. What's more annoying is she discovers she can't find important things like keys etc at the very last minute.

I can't stand to be late for anything. I try to be atleast fifteen minutes for everything I do. My partner on the other hand like to wait till the last minute to do anything. I will usually tell him that we have to be some where a half hour to an hour before we usually have to arrive depending on where it is. That way we always arrive on time.

I know people quite well with that matter, with some 11:00 is 11:00. But the friends of which I know are always late then 11:00 for them is simply 12:30 in my time :P. Even if I come at 12:30 some might still come later. Can be annoying, but something you get used to I'd say.
