I am 8 months pregnant and I also have a 3 year old. Well my three year old has gotten to were she is somewhat jelous and when we go to stores and look at baby stuff she starts saying she wants to kill baby Alyssa. Well I am shocked when she says this and I have no clue were she hears stuff like this to even say it. I know that she will be a great big sister and I know that she will try and spoil her baby sister. But how am I suppose to respond to comments like that when she says them??

to avoid jellousy tell her she caN Buy some clothes for her own baby when you go shopping then buy some doll clothes and a doll you can give her the day the baby is born so she will have her own baby to look forwrd to along with you !It could help

Thanks. I did buy her a baby to feed and hold but its clothes don't remove I will have to get her one can she can change to.

I don't really know what to tell you to tell her. I know that my cousin did this when his mom was pregnant with his brother though. He did a lot worse thought than just talk about it. He actually threw a doll in a fire and said that was what he was going to do with the baby. But in reality he didn't do anything of the sort. She's just getting really jealous of all the attention that the new baby is already getting. Just try to remmeber to have time with just her without talk of the new baby. And also when Alyssa is born still have mommy and daughter time with the new big sister.

LOL that's kind of cute! It sounds like she's just a bit jealous is all :) Things will be better in a year or so :)

I will always have my mommy daughter time with LeighAnna as well she is my first miracle baby. She doesnt liked called a big sister though she says Alyssa is her baby and I'm the big sister!!
