hi gabs, Do you run yahoo at the same time as mylot? i have found that when i use yahoo messanger at the same time as mylot there seems to be a conflic and one or both of them will sign me out blessed be

Ok, that is weird I was logged in and responding to other discussions and responses. I responded to this with 'this has never happened to me except for when I switch browsers' when I went to submit I got the message I had to sign up - it had logged me out :( Your ghost is attached to you my dear.... this is strange... Oh, I also added thank you for the laugh because I thought I was the only person in the world that talks to their computer :)

I keep telling you, you are not a ghost, you are a poltergeist, or you just as well be, it all happens around you, hugs. Now, Seriously. Remember I refuse point blank to have yahoo IM on my machine, and remember I always had problems of that nature. Everyone says it is not yahoo, but I have not had that problem since, as you know. Also, make sure you have all your updates for the anti virus, as the viruses are sneaky. good luck hugs xx

Yes I get that sometimes too It seems to happen when I have written a discussion and tried to post but the screen goes all white then I have to try again and thats when I have to sign back in.

It has happened to me a couple of times after I have typed a response. It was my password and everything but when I was signed in again my response had been accepted alright. It is very annoying but mL (didn't say the name as it might alert them and delete this response!) has not been responding to emails (at least mine) for the past month.

make sure that you are logged in to your mylot account in the present session and not from the previous sessions where your browser remembers your account information and shows your logged in page when you go to mylot. Sometimes the session is timed out for security reasons. One of the above could be the reason for your logging out. I had this problem too. Try using a good anti-virus to make sure that your computer is free from adwares or spywares and programs that could harm your computer. Ghosts enter peoples lives not computers..

My computer does that on mylot if my firewall is on. I have to shut the firewall down to use mylot. I have no idea why this happens but I have had to do this every time.

That happened to me a couple of times last week too. And I did just like you and ran all the security programs but nothing was showing to be wrong. I noticed that it happens when I use Internet Explorer. I downloaded Firefox (finally) the other day, and so far, so good. Now watch....since I've said that, it will do it to me again tomorrow!

i have just noticed this happening to me gabs. it is really annoying isnt it? i wonder how we could sort this problem out?

yes lil sis, sometimes it happens to me too. there seems to be a glitch here. but who knows, maybe our forum ghosts are hiding here hehehehehe. its annoying sometimes, because i tie directly here, so i have to repeat it and sometimes i get a bit mad and stop posting lol. lets hope they can fix it soon

Hi gabs, hope all is well. I personally have never had this problem so I'm not sure what to suggest sorry. The only thing I can think of is to maybe make sure you sign out every time you are done for the day as it could have been a previous session. I'm not sure *shrugs* Sorry I'm not much help. right now you have jinxed me too! I just typed a response to this and tried to post it only to have to sign in first! This hasn't happened to me before though! xxx

Gabs, What is going on. Jimbo's computer is beeping and yours is signing off without your help. Have you tried defragmenting it? Then I think I would unhook everything for a few minutes and rehook everything up. Maybe it will reset something. If all else fails go into your recovery and recover it to the last day that it worked correctly. Hopefully that will help.Let me know if any of these things helped. xoxoxo

Thank goodness I don't seem to be having that problem..I always keep most of my favorite sites where one needs to log in, logged in, so I never sign out...and I keep my yahoo im off as well...of course I do have a Mac computer so maybe I don't have the same problems as PC users have..although one thing I do notice here...I can sometimes post something here and it seems to take W---a----y...too long to upload..

I didn't notice any problems 4 days ago ( sorry pal not been online as much) but I will tell you a queer story . when we are watching TV at night (more often than not it is coronation street)the TV goes off , and we have to switch it back on again , This happens quite a lot and we have come to the conclusion ( not hubby because he laughs at me ) but I think there is someone or something else in the house that doesn't like coronation street)we switch it back on and thats it for ages again . I used to think it was hubby mucking about but last night it happened again and the remote control was on the couch and not close to any of us , xx

Yes, It has happened a few times but then after I resign in I'm ok for that session. I hope things are ok.. Mylot just gets as few glitzes now and then. And firefox does to..

This is not something that I have experienced at Mylot, but it is not surprising either. A few minor glitches with your internet connection could easily cause a logout, as could several other issues. I can understand how frustrating this must be, which probably explains why you are jumping up and down and stamping your feet.

I had that do me severasl times! Now I am just waiting for my puter to get fixed. This is Lindas puter and it is to slow to work on . I cant sign into yahooIM for it says I am onanother puter and JImmy said I had messages from you but they were gone so this is one way to talk to ya . My email is so full I will never get caught upam hoping to get my puter out of shop somketime tomorrow they said I had tons of viruses and spyware on my puter and I dont know where they came from or why my avast virus control didnt stop themI was working here in my lot but not from outlookexpress just str8 from cox cable when the viruses stated and I couldnt get them to stop. I just hope no one else has had this problem. And will be glad to get back my puter so I can come back here and asnswer all my emails from all my friends on here and here is a bunch lol. Also can get my laptop to work for I am on a wireless and with my puter not hooked up it sosent get a signal grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr HAve A great day and hope to be back soon hugs hugs hugs

gabs, I have been having the exact same problem off and on for about a week. I thought it was my computer, but from your discussion I have finally realized that it isn't. PHEW! lol I have all the virus protection and all of that neat stuff always running, and had defragged and cleared cookies and history, and was still getting logged out. Definitely frustrating. Hi Gabs! How are you doing? Maybe your computer wants you to rest.~~lol But kidding aside, it happened to me too, twice I think for Mylot. And now more often when I'm using YM. And one of my friend, constantly had this kind of problem this past few days. But his reason is due to bad internet connection. Wich always logged him out. Maybe your service provider is running some update lately and your connection has been affected. Because if your computer is okay, maybe it's with them. So maybe to give them a call, just to ask some news about their services will clarify why you have a ghost in your pc. ~~lol Have a great day Gabs! (^^,)
