I found a really awesome in home daycare and I love it. I will hate if we move, but she does what I want her to do and takes care of my little girl like I would. Even better she will watch her at night or on the weekends. I just thought the regular daycare had to many rules. How about you?

I agree with you that regular center daycare has to many rules. Home (or family) daycare is meant to be an extended family..and that seems to be what you have found.
I keep kids on weekends and overnights also..and if I have to go somewhere, I just load all of the kids up and we go. Ever gone grocery shopping with 8 kids in tow???

Never with 8 kids, but sometimes my one feels like more than one. Good luck thanks for your comments.

I had to go shopping this weekend and I had 9 kids with me. Four of those kids are a family and I knew mom might be off any minute or it could be a couple more hours. I hate waiting for her to show up..so I loaded them all up to go grocery shopping. I left a note for mom we were at this store. Well of course mom shows up at the store. She took her 4 which left me 5. I was surprised at how with me all of the kids were under control and behaving. As soon as she took her kids, they were all over the store. I kept seeing them everywhere without their mother, and when I saw her the kids were no where around her.
How come I can control 9 kids and she can't control 4??

My children go to my friends house and she watches them. She has 3 children and I have 4 children. The older 3 children go to school but after school when they are all there my friend and her husband are both home so they can easily care for all 7 children. I have had several sitters and this is by far the best situation to have.

My daughter goes to an "in-home" daycare also. It is great! My daughter is 10 so she will only have to go for a couple of more years- This daycare is super- Healthy meals, alot of fun things, and compassion! I love it- I never have to worry during the days that my daughter is safe or having fun! She is super!
