Anyone interested in motorcycles but think that they're just too dangerous or your parents wont let you get one. You may have another option. A popular hobby originally derived from Japan that has slowly increased in popularity is now in the US. Pocket Bikes are simply miniature sized motorcycles. Yea those 20" bikes that you see the Shaq and Yao Ming sized guys racing around your n'hood. Pocket bikes aren't oly just for fun but can also be used as a good source of transportation. The most popular and my favorite bike the X-18 motobravo can get around 40 miles per 1/2 gallon. Pocket Bikes come in three sizes the largest of which usually having a seat height of around 27" and a top speed of maybe 70 mph. These larger bikes can also be legalized in most of the states for street use. I think having a pocket bike is a great alternative to a car and doesn't put a dent in your wallet, many times running around $700. If anyone can find the X-18 cheaper than $570 tell me.
