I put my goals in a table on my computer and check them off as I achieve them.

That is a deep, and a very true statement. I most definitely write my deep thougts down and I even place them in poems. As an aspiring writer I write things down because you never know what they might lead too (a poem, a short story, a novel) or it could be a new business venture or clues to your destiny. Your thoughts are a vision of you future.

I agree & when I move on to the after life, I would love to leave a piece of me for all to read. .... "The Life & Times Of An Everyday Man Doing Extraordinary Things".

Sounds like a good book maybe you should start writing it today and sell it as an ebook tomorrow, I am quite sure there is some interesting things happening in your daily life that people would like to read about. :-)

As writers write, and usually write about most anything, writing your deep thoughts is not only a form of expression, but release.
Some of a writer's deepest thoughts have turned into award winning novels, plays, operas and even some of the the world's most loved poems.
Have you ever wondered about the people who don't write their thoughts? What do they do with them? Where do they put them? I'm sure some of the greatest thoughts have been lost because of this.
Makes you stop to think, doesn't it?

yeah i am in habit of writing whatever i feels, whatever is in my mind.
Like if i am badly missing some friend, i use to write 'hey, see i never thought but look i m missing you'
Even in my office, if i am too invilved in a matter, i used to write that in my 'Things to do list'
