Do you re use your water containers?

I reuse mine for awhile, then discard into recycle. I think the contamination bit is a scare tactic to keep people buy new bottles. No one says that about plastic glasses which have been used for years! I would not recommend prolonged reuse of bottles, however, without some kind of disinfecting. I do think bacteria could build up.

Actually, I am guilty of reusing the water bottles again as I was not aware of the hazards of reusing them. What if the water bottles are washed and cleaned thoroughly? I think it would be a waste of money to buy water bottles if you can not reuse them. I definitely will have to keep this in mind when using a water bottle. Thank you for sharing this information.
