Many people believe hell is here on earth and knowing that Satan is the ruler of this world it would seem that if there is another place then this must be an introduction to it. With all the death and hunger and illness and poverty it would seem that hell is a little more than a state of mind. To triumph with a state of peace in the midst of turmoil here on earth takes a great deal of faith. I personally believe that hell is eternal torment a seperation from God if I may say. But the more things get worse here the possibility of hell seems all the more real. What do you think hell is or where do you think it is?

True, hell is a place of torment and separation from the love of God. Many Bible scholars believed that Hell is in the core of the earth (as it is the hottest part), but in my opinion, Hell is a place designed by God somewhere-- not on earth (do you believe the 'new heaven and earth' that St. John stated in Revelation 21?) nor part of heaven, but it is place hidden to man and only God knew it's actual location. But our Lord Jesus Christ repeatedly mentioned it in the Bible that it is a place where 'weeping and gnashing of teeth', 'lake of fire', 'destruction of body and soul', etc. would experience by everyone who would be there someday.

Rey,according to some people who actually gone there, escorted by Jesus Christ, hell is located at the center of the earth.I also read in the Bible that lucifer and all demons were thrown out here by our Almighty God ,so I believed hell exist here inside our planet. For more testimonies about hell and Heaven..pls.visit here:http://www.spiritlessons.com/

I read on the testimonies of Mary Baxter, etc. But, my only basis is that of the new heaven and earth that's on Rev. 21. Remember, that in the last of days earth will be destroyed by fire so that the new earth will be re-created. So if earthi is destroyed, this include the core of the earth (i.e. hell). Nothing impure can be in the new heaven and earth, so that means, hell which will be the dwelling place of Satan, demons and rebellious people cannot be part of it. New earth and hell cannot be co-exist at the same place. This is what I believe.

I believe what the Bible says and it says that there is a place called Hades (which is hell). So i do believe there is a place called hell. As to where it is I don't want to know.

I thik it is real. It is a place of punishment and eternal suffering. Sin separates man from God. But repentence and belief in Jesus Christ sets you free from sin. The gospel is very simple- and its beautiful- that God would die for me so that I can live. None of us deserve His love- and all of us deserve Hell. But through the grace of God, he sets us free through Jesus Christ- and those that believe will be saved. I stand in awe of God- and I love Him dearly~Here are some scriptures on what Hell will be like:
Matthew 8:12
But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Matthew 13:42
They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 13:50
and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 22:13
"Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
Matthew 24:51
He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 25:30
And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
Luke 13:28
"There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.

I don't believe in hell in that it's a place of brimstone and punishment. If there is a hell I think it's here on Earth. This place is bad enough without the thought of someplace afterwards. I think after this life we do not go to hell. I'd like to think that what is after this place is far better. That it is a wonderful place and we leave all this behind.

respecto de este tema, creo que el infierno no existe sino que es un estado mental inducido por gente bien intencionada procurando que nos nos extralimitemos en nuestras libertades.

Yes, I believe there is a hell and a heaven; and that it is up to each individual in the way they led their lives and such on which way they will go eventually. that I do believe in.

Hello!
I don't know where Hell is but I most definitely believe it is a real place. True things are bad here on earth at this time but according to the Bible there will be no peace on earth until Jesus comes back. The ones who are left behind during the tribulation will experience a taste of what it will be like to spend eternity in Hell.

I need to rephrase that. Those left behind during tribulation will find out how bad things can really get here on earth with Satan in charge, but they won't know what Hell is really like unless they go there. I believe it is just what the Bible says, a place of eternal fire and eternal torment for those who go there.

You have to get to the point where there is no dualistic world view anymore...

Yes of course I believe in hell..where are all these murders, child molesters, rapists & anyone who ever commited a serious crime going? I have to believe they dont just get to sit here on earth and watch tv, have 3 meals a day served to them, come out of there cell for like an hour while there victimes are suffering for the rest of there lives. I do believe hell is where there going to suffer and burn in all eternity for there sins.

No, I don't believe in hell. I think it is a tool used over the ages to frighten and manipulate people.
Pain and misery are part of life, along with joys and fulfillment. But if one makes the choice of holding on to pain and misery and thus create suffering either for themselves or others then I suppose in that way it is a type of hell; just not the hell of fire and brimstone.
