I was not sure about this movie, but at the urging of my sister I watched. Wow! What a great story, and full of such interesting characters. Sophia Myles, who plays Isolde is beautiful, and I really enjoyed the performance of Rufus Sewell as Marke. Romance, tragedy, drama, battles, treachery....it's all there. I think this movie has something to please every viewer, male or female! There are even touches of humor to lighten the intensity, and this is a movie I can watch repeatedly.
