I think that men doesn't want anyone see him crying because of society and they think that it makes them less of a man. In my opinion, when a man cries, I think of them as a real, real man. I admire that because when a man cries, he's emotional and sensitive. I like that in a man.

Yes indeed what u all think is true. I being a man do cry but only silent tears. I am afraid that girls would feel i am weak and would never come near me. Somehow i feel weak and uncomfortable.
But as u all say that u feel a crying man is a real man...i appreciate and thank u all for the support u have given me unknowingly.

Some men are afraid of what other people may think of them crying in public. Not all men are like this, but most are. It makes them feel a little uncomfortable. To me if a man cries, then he is just letting out an emotion or reaction to something that made him upset. There is nothing wrong with it. To me it's just a natural reaction.

I admire a man who shows he has feelings, if there is a sad situation a man shows how he feels by shedding a tear, its nice, I have a friend and he is knownas a real toughy when a mutual friend of our passed away when we were away from everyone else we both cried, he made me promise not to tell anyone but I tell you my respect for him doubled whe we had that moment...it is nice to know they feel to that extent...

I admire a man who can cry, my father cried when he was happy. I cry more when I am happy too. All my sons and my husband cry. I think more of a man for showing his emotions.

When a man cries, its a proof that his heart is strong because he can control his own emotions in a situation thus giving him a good self-control and also self-confidence.

I always think it's a good thing when men can cry. I know some people seem to look down upon it, but I really like a man who can cry because it shows that he is in touch with his feelings and isn't afraid to show them. It shows that they're real. I have a lot of respect for a man who cries! :)
