In China,if you;re a clerk in governmental organazition, you retire when you come to 60 years old.But if you're in important position or you;re a business or work in a personal company, then that all depends. What is your career?Have you decided when to retire from work if you can make a choice?

AHA, my dear friend, also as a chinese .i 'd like to give you a response . You are too young to think of this topic.why you get this question? hehe,i won't retire until 55,i think it's a long time to reach the terminal. The things i should do at the moment is to earn as much money as possible and do my best to work hard. If i can make a choice i would prefer to work to my over.but not too much work ,i don't want to be so busy but just things to do .I think you can actually understand

I work for the government and can't retire until 60. I do hope I can retire several years earlier before I'm really too old to do anything else. I am dreaming doing some thing different in my life to see if I'm capable of different career.

i have yet not taken up a job Lol!! but i guess i'll retire early from my job if i find it boring and i would continue doing my job if its interesting and i have a secure bank balance hehe! if im in a givernment job then i cant decide my retirement as i'll have to retire at the age of 60. but then even after sixty, i dont think sitting at home will be a good idea. people should take up other jobs and continue to work as long as they can without tiring themselves too much!

Around here the usual retirement age is 65. I sure hope I am not working for anyone but myself by then. I hate my job. I own a couple of businesses too and hopefully they will be successful so I will be retired by 55. I think 65 is a long time to work but I also think that age is not important and people should be able to work as long as they like. I have an uncle in his 90's that is still running his own businesses and it keeps him feeling young.

I used to work as a teacher in a government school years ago, but I quitted my job and am now working in a private one which offers me a bigger and better platform to develop my talent. The most important thing that pleases me is that I am getting much more than I used to. I once thought I would retire when I get to 50, but things are changing all the time. I have so many things to do for myself, for my family. Just like what is said in our psychology textbooks says: when a level is reached, another one is followed. Huamn's desire is never satisfied. To me, when I have reached my basic aim in life, then it is time for me to get retired from work. You see, the living standard is changing all the time. When you think that you have enough to live for the rest of your life, it will be changed tomorrow. Therefore it's not an easy thing for us to say right now when we will retire. It is still too early, at least so far as situation is concerned.

Sorry to have made some typing mistakes. Correction as follows: Remove the spare word Says in the sentence---Just like... It's human, not Huaman. Add one more word in the sentence---so far as My situation is concerned. Sorry again for the mistakes.
